@@sandracancasci4160 Sorry but Brandy's name shouldn't really be in the same sentence as, Stevie Nicks... I know that sounds just a horrible thing to say - I just mean, Stevie has been around for decades and is the golden goose of rock and roll, known and loved in all corner of the world, that's why I say that. Brandy is half of a girl group to my memory of her. Good on her though.

First time I've seen the real intimacy of the Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham relationship in full action. They may have broken up at this point, but that moment singing on stage can be seen to capture the energy they must have had daily in better times, in terms of their relationship, and that you would only see in a private moment in their home. It was really beautiful to see. In that moment, they looked like too kids in love, caring so much for each other and having fun.

Clearly Mick Fleetwood has an amazing ear , choosing Lindsay and Stevie to join his group was genius , they compliment each other so perfectly , their harmonies are amazing ,and adding Christine to these harmoiness was magic in the makeing , this line of talent was so strong ,it help them overcome broken realitonships and feeling , and focus on this incredible gift of talent that they all knew was to speical to let go

Gonzalo Mejia Mick wanted Lindsey, he was looking for a guitar player, not a singer, especially not another female singer, as they already had Christine. It was Lindsey who insisted that they were a package deal, either both of them or neither of them. Fortunately the band said yes to both of them and the rest is history. It was just Fleetwood Mac’s sheer good fortune that Stevie turned out to be such a star..she took them to a whole other level.

Sometimes I wonder tho if it had been the other way round, they wanted Stevie and not Lindsey if the same rules would have applied. I think that Stevie would have dropped Lindsey in a heartbeat..so, lucky for Lindsey it happened the way it did..unlucky for Lindsey that Stevie will still drop him in a heartbeat. Oh well...when Stevie pulled that stunt after Christine came back, that’s when Fleetwood Mac ended for me. ua-cam.com/video/0yq-Fw7C26Y/v-deo.html

Lindsey Buckingham’s contributions to Stevie’s songs is so under-rated. IMO this is one of the greatest Mac songs of all-time, but, as this video footage shows, his tweaks made it what it became. As a 20 year old, summer 1980, hearing the Tusk album on the cassette player in the car for the first time. Blew me away then, and still does.

And nobody realizes that most harmonies or leads up leads down happen While recording...and this is fantastic to see how Stevie records...she moves and her vibrato hangs out everywhere. She sings powerfully right up at the mic...pick your mics with low proximity effect. And you also hear how much is lost in the recording because we get to hear it almost acapella. :)

Yeah me too, I saw the Tusk tour about 7 or 8 shows. In Philly Stevie sang the whole song Angel and looked at me during the whole song. I have LOTS of great photos from that tour. That was when they allowed you to take photos during shows. I had 1st 10 rows for 5 of those shows.
    Those were the days.
    Sorry about your VHS tape.

This is so cool being behind the scenes in the studio. I've never had the pleasure of seeing this one before, but it's an unbelievably good classic piece and definately manditory for all Fleetwood Mac fans!I love it!

They have a trult special connection that will never be broken despite the fact that they are no longer together as a couple.. you can still love someone even if you are no longer together..
They have an amazing resilience and work ethic that clearly works for them.. x

Fun Fact: (for those of you who don't already know) the producer guy in the middle at 3:28 is Ken Caillat. Colbie Caillat's dad. 😊
