Thanks for the video bro you really helped me out with this new shift knob I got my civic sport. Good thing I found your video Man I was about to return my knob 😂
I'm glad my content has helped you out with your parts! Don't hesitate to reach out to acuity in the dm's or email, we will make sure you get the right parts you need and assist as we can to make for speedy installs 🤘😎
As long as it's manual, this boot collar should be able to replace the stock plastic chrome collar easily. Then using the locking nut made for the ctr knob (u get two types that come in the kit), it should make the boot and new collar sit nice and flush with your new CTR knob 👌
Great video, really enjoyed your editing. I have a 2018 Accord Sport 6sp 2.0t; just installed all the Acuity parts except the shifter and boot collar. Probably going to pull the trigger on this. Thanks again!
i dont mean to be offtopic but does any of you know a trick to get back into an instagram account?? I stupidly forgot my account password. I appreciate any help you can offer me
@Jose Armando thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and I'm trying it out now. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
yes, this boot collar is made to pair with both the stock and most aftermarket knobs. If you are looking for a shift knob that has an integrated shift boot collar, check out the Acuity POCO shift knobs :)
The acuity collar is only designed to work with flat bottom or boss bottom shaped shift knobs. Some aftermarket shift knobs (I think likewise is like this for several of their designs) have an extended sleeve on the bottom that either covers the threads on the shifter, or prevents the locking nut from tightening up against it. Regardless I'd recommend pairing it up with a different knob if you want your shift boot to fit flush under the knob, or I'm sure if you reach out to acuity's support email they can help process a return for you 👍. Sorry to hear it's not working out!
@@Pawinning I actually ended up getting the boot collar Likewise offers, it's not exactly what I'm looking for but the knob itself is sentimental and if I were to get a new one, I wouldn't hear the end of it from my girlfriend! Edit: I'll be keeping the acuity one just in case, by no means am I displeased with it, I just wish I had known sooner.
Just put this in my Civic hatch yesterday evening. Maybe it’s just that I didn’t notice this before the installation, but almost seems like my shifts are “clunkier” if that makes sense, and noisier. Could it be that the shift knob I put on is weighted making a difference? Still shifts fine, it might be in my head.
Hey! Sorry to hear about your issues, have you reached out to the acuity support team for assistance? If it doesn't lock up check that you have an o-ring inside the collar. If it's missing they can send you one 🤘
It eliminates potential boot sag if you’re changing your shift knob. Depending on the binding nuts supplied with ur aftermarket shift knob, the stock plastic collar won’t always mate back to the bottom of the knob. The acuity collar kit replaces the oem plastic collar altogether, and provides you with two types of binding nuts that can be used with different shift knobs. Check out their website for more details!
acuity name is appropriate, they really are a cutie with all these parts that may seem unnecessary but really enhance the experience

I do not! sorry
I'd like to see an E46 brake upgrade. Have you heard of it?
yes i have! I actually might consider full race brakes! but the e46 330Ci conversion is also under consideration!
Pawinning Sweet! Can't wait to see what's next!
Very good!
Please, What is this Shift Knob??
I bought the short shifter bundle and was wondering if the stock shift knob, boot, and collar will all fit it. Thanks in advance!!
Hey i just want to ask if I need to unplug the negative of the battery?
Does it come with a new locking nut for the shift knob? Or do you use the old one?
I’m surprised they didn’t give you a discount code for all of us to use like most sponsors do for channels
I’ll start inquiring about that :)
Doug S Yes exactly put me on that list om def going with some Acuity parts for my 10th gen si as well 😎
So you have to buy the shift nob and buy this separately?
yes, this boot collar is made to pair with both the stock and most aftermarket knobs. If you are looking for a shift knob that has an integrated shift boot collar, check out the Acuity POCO shift knobs :)
I’m assuming you need to disconnect battery for this?
Does this work on 2.0 accord also?
if its manual then yes i believe it should work
Out of stock on their site. Anywhere else to purchase this product?
I’d give it a week or two, they seem to be working hard to keep up with demand 👌. Don’t hesitate to contact them tho! They’re pretty responsive
Do you have something for at?
Acuity only makes parts for manual transmission Honda’s as of now
Does this work on 2018 honda fit?
If it’s a manual yes! Info is on their website
It is a manual. Thank you sir
You’re welcome! Happy to help
I got this boot collar since my girlfriend bought me a likewise shifter and it doesn't fit lol

Will this work on a 9th gen 13 model
I believe so! Check out their install guides if you’re curious on the process 👍

Boot collar wont lock
