- Two heroes go out and rescue this adorable deer from the middle of a frozen lake. The cameraman had to put down the camera in the end to help the deer up. Black Sturgeon Lake Kenora, Ontario, Canada.

The person recording probably put his camera/phone away to help lift the deer up. If he hadn't, knowing the internet, you would all be now complaining about him "just filming and doing nothing".

I’m a deer hunter (hate coming?) but it’s always awesome to see this! I don’t like to see anything suffering or helpless. We take good care of our wild animals on our farms. We have done extensive land restoration to provide an abundance of food and cover. Biggest problem we have now is over population. We like to hunt but not slaughter and not enough family members to control the population. Luckily our neighbors have increased their harvest numbers.
That deer will never forget you guys
I love that point where the deer goes from "CRAP CRAP GET AWAY" to "Oh well.. If that's all you wanted you shoulda said so."

My guess would be that it took a long and tedious time. Either than, or one of the guy's pants fell down and he threated to sue if they included that part of the video.
