Imagine how terrified this deer mom was
Yes true
I'm afraid of deer, too! I'm glad she didn't attack them!
I didn’t know deer were aggressive.. I thought they were sweet and get scared very easy
@@ghadaj3125 oh yeah they can get very aggressive.
Im imagining !!!
Watching the mother stress over her fawn should remind everyone that animals are no different than us.
💯
Other momma deers start hooving people and animals.. they are lucky she was the scared kind..
Absolutely! That's why so often we have men killing the children of women they want to impregnate themselves.
I understand your point. But it's a bit easy to forget about the animals that have no problem killing their own offspring, or the offspring of others.
People aren't angels. But neither are animals.
It's kind of insane how the modern concept of animals is that they're just objects, and we're the only subjects in existence.
Animal "science" for the past century has mostly involved cramming things into glass boxes with food games, giving them numbers instead of names, and torturing them into mechanical behavior. Then we called animals boring idiots. That's where behaviorism has gotten us. Bleak and useless.
But things are changing for the better. Scientists are dropping behaviorism for ethology. Ethology, the study of animals' _character_ in nature, rather than just the _behavior_ we manipulate out of them in unnatural places. Where animals get names, peers, and stories. I'm hoping future generations won't need that reminder.
"I'm so glad you came home all I could do was film it!!"
I love helper daddy, is pointing to mama deer 🦌 and talking to her, like she’d understand
Yes! So cute he was POINTING to the fawn.
His tone was soothing and non-threatening to help keep her calm until she found the fawn
@@camillep3631 And yet the wife is telling him to back off.
My heart was breaking for the mama deer she had to feel helpless thank you for helping her baby I'm so glad her and her baby were reunited
We be don’t know that
❗PSA❗~ When not in use... PLEASE lift / bind / remove Sport/Athletic nets. They're HAZARDOUS & CAN BE FATAL to ANY/ALL innocent DOMESTIC PETS & to WILDLIFE.
From my heart, I thank you.💕🙏💕
Didn't show mother and child union.
I seen a baby deer devoured by a mountain lion and the mother can’t do nothing about it
Mine too.
Put a towel over the fawns head, calms them down if they can't see what happening.
That's what I was thinking too but the fawn is ok n is reunited with mama ❤
How can they do that if it’s tangled up? That towel would’ve just hindered him trying to cut the net
Then put a towel over the mother's head...calm everyone down.
I put a towel over my head while I was watching and it definitely calmed me down
Good advice, thanks 👍🏻
You can see mama trying the only defense she knows, trying to lead them away from her fawn. Glad to see everything worked out.
Oh ok didn't know why she was running around like that. Learned something.
I had no idea that was what she was doing
The way the mother runs from here to there just melt my heart
Would have been nice to see them actually connect.
baby sounded so afraid
Agreed. The camera work was questionable, lol.
Exactly. It was painful to watch this...I had to speed it up because it felt like an eternity for them to get the fawn out. I understand it was difficult to free and I am not blaming the people at all, I'm just saying what you mentioned, I sat through all that panic and stress hoping at the end we'd get some wonderful reunion...nope. At least they were re-united (off screen I guess)
@@geekthegirl6961 Are you guys kidding? It's real life captured on a cell phone, not a film. The most important thing is that the baby was freed and the Doe was able to find her fawn.
@@CatBrash they did not that's why you did not see the reunion. I am so upset they fool people
would have been nice to see their reunion after the fawn was freed from
that soccer net. mama deer was pretty anxious about her helpless baby,
but I am just glad that these nice people were able to rescue it.
The fact that the recording was cut short makes me very suspicious.
Took long enough to get it out, no wonder she was anxious. Tilted me so hard.
@@justglenn1037 Agree. Put the phone down/save some time, and help the animal.
@Projekt Kobra The point was to save time by saving the two from stress rather than use it for social media. Who knows how long she waited for her husband and then for scissors while she imagined social fame. Sorry to be cynical but after reflecting on and knowing deer are high stress animals with often fatal consequences it wasn’t a heartwarming moment for me.
Plus it was edited for time
I wonder how many other mothers stopped breathing when the doe came back and saw her baby wasn't there. Legit, I forgot to swallow. I felt that. Good on good people helping out. Aparently the village had been extended!
Awww! Just the way she started looking around to see if there was someone around to help her it’s amazing! All the signs of a good mother. Thank you! 🙏🏼👏😔🙌🏼
"Our soccer net 😢"
That kid's got priorities. 🤭
that net should be stowed away.
One more self-entitled child to help make the world worse when she gets older.
I don't think she sounded entitled, I think she just sounded like a kid. If she was entitled, I think she would have been complaining about the fawn the whole time, but instead she was trying to help out. She sounds too young to have a job, even babysitting, but old enough to be given semi-expensive stuff with a warning to be careful not to break it. And, after the animals were safe, she noticed something that she likely used had gotten damaged -- like a kid who saw the family's stuff broken by something outside their control despite their best efforts not to break it.
She's a little kid, don't be a jerk
foking deers, my nett.:((((
Hearing those frightened cries of the fawn & seeing Mama so worried about her baby truly hurt my heart...Thank God for all the people who care about the wellbeing of animals...& of course that includes wildlife...Heartwarming ending...
Hi
Ughh me too! Crying!! So heart wrenching.
Hello how are you doing
This is why we as humans need too think about what we're doing with what we own!!! Animals wonder around our lives and get stuck in odd things.
Typical asinine idealistic comment. Things like this are going to happen no matter what when you have wildlife living close to people. Animals have drowned in swimming pools, gotten trapped under homes, are routinely hit by cars, have been mutilated under the hoods of cars when starting engines, had their heads stuck in fences, the list is endless. It is impossible for the average person with everything they have going on in their lives to imagine all the ways animals could be harmed let alone animal proof their yard. Things like this happen and its unfortunate. The dear was saved and will have an interesting story to tell his friends in the woods.
I'm amazed at how little that woman did to help...
Typical woman.
What do you expect her to do? She called for help and support from her family. You know deer can be dangerous and even a doe can cause serious harm especially for a fawn. She did a good job relatively overall and even shared their experience so even you can watch. Nothing was wrong in the video.
In addition to what the other person said, how do you know the woman wasn't feeding s baby or something
@@kerryh3833 aww look at all the upset women, mad at being useless.

IT is weird indeed. Everywhere I comment, people tell me how much they love me and my content. Sometimes IT is annoying. But right now, IT would be okay. So say something nice about my content, dear bla
Deers are very maternal they rarely ever leave their babies, they only do if they're too injured to save, but other than that they'll never leave their babies.

It broke my heart to hear the baby deer cry. Thankfully, they were home and kind enough to come to the rescue!
Momma deers leave their babies during the day usually hidden in areas difficult for preys to see. I have them in our tall grass edge of hay fields
Mom, go get your scissors yourself. You have the power!

On soccer nets when not playing: roll them up to the top and tie them off with a couple of ties. Please take the time and you’ll save many animals. Deer are susceptible to dying from fright. Look it up.
I knew that was coming
Thank God the woman had the brains to get help. It’s extremely risky to attempt to rescue a fawn on your own. It’s a great way to discover how vicious a deer can be. That chuffing noise she started to make damn near gave me an anxiety attack and caused flashbacks to a harsh learning experience.
Rescuing that deer could cause the mother to leave her baby due to the scent of people on her baby
@@samuelstudy8705 That's a different set of circumstances.
They could have got themselves killed.
thats right. their hooves are like knives. they will kick, stomp, and slash. def a 2 person job...

Beautiful video! That mama deer cared more about her baby than many human mamas do.

Hi
Animals really understand much more than people realize.
Mom was so worried, as would any mother would be. Incredible job.
Great job, but that could've been dangerous. The mom was pretty stressed... glad it worked out.
Only heard of bucks attacking humans when in mating rut..
Deer are smart, they understand the time of year when its safe and mama wouldn't bring her fawn to a residential area if she didn't have a relatively high level of trust.
So glad someone was there to help and mommy and baby were reunited that poor mama was so frantic
How are you doing today
Hello 👋👋👋👋
Hi
Worse than useless mom was happy someone showed up to help too...oh wait, SHE was there to help! She just never bothered to.
Pointing to where the fawn went into the woods - 🤣 like the mother understands your hand gesture.

People need to learn to but those nets up when not in use. This happens more often than you'd think.

It’s cry’s made me so sad that I just wanted to comfort it, I’m so glad that the mother and baby are okay.

That Was 3 minutes of pure anxiety !!!😩😭 thank you rescuers!!! 🙏🏻❤️
I don't know... You never saw the fawn again and that off camera "sound" they attributed to the fawn sounded more like a puppy or small dog.
Yeah it was their dog yelping.
it was probably a predator chowing down on the fawn that they released into the forest by itself in opposite direction from mom
The video cut too soon was hoping to see their reunion at the end
Me too!!! I hope she found her baby!
That poor mama deer... I pray she re-united with her little one and gave them a good talking to. :) Thank you for freeing him/her.
They way she looked at the net "where is my baby?😥" broke my heart
A mother’s love is a very powerful thing❤️
Hi
Exactly why all nets should be stored rolled up. This small net could be stored in the garage or just rolled up and tied up. Wildlife can't avoid humans anymore, so we have to be responsible for their safety.
Absolutely! like not leaving kite string laying around. Humans are so irresponsible.
Thank you for your kindness 🙏
Thank you for saving this sweet baby and helping out Mamma ❤️

She’s so glad her husband came home to…figure out they needed scissors and cut the cords? I’m…I’m confused…
She seemed too scared of the mom deer to go near the baby.
@@chynacash3138 Yes. Deer can be dangerous to humans... especially when a fawn is involved.
She needed to record the entire event. All other priorities were secondary.
Well, it makes sense to have a second person in this situation, so one can watch the deer and the other can free the fawn.
@@micmackman4444 LOL!! Right!?
Aww poor thing! Thank you for helping out the fawn.
Thank you for saving the baby and cutting your net to free it.
Just like a real Mom so worried about her baby! Very nice what you did! ❤
I can feel the Mama deer’s love⋯ and the baby deer’s voice is so cute!🥰🦌
The deer was looking like are you going to help? 🦌Ok,is there any other humans around?😄
I know, right? I was getting nervous by how long it was taking these people to finally free the fawn. If you pay attention, the mother deer starts stomping around getting extremely impatient with them to get her baby out of that hideous net. And then when the mother deer couldn't find the fawn when it was just behind her shows how panicked the mother was! As others have mentioned here, we need to learn to share the planet with ALL the animals...we as humans do not own the planet.
@@gregkinsky3443 I hope the mom found her baby
@@gregkinsky3443 I'm not 100% sure but I thought when they stomp it's meant as a warning that they are going to charge. That's why the wife kept trying to distract it because she may have been afraid the doe would attack the husband not understanding that he's trying to save the fawn.
How sweet is that 5hank you so much for helping the fawn and mama doe too
So thoughtful and concerned for baby, not not! Good to see! God bless!
I'm glad your home ...I couldn't put phone down and get scissors
😭😭😭😭😭
Seriously! Another case of "let me get my camera" as someone or some animal is screeching for help. Not to mention the fawn needed help because of a stupid soccer net that should of been rolled up when you have a freakin forest for a backyard. How long was that poor fawn there?! She watched this scene, called hubby, waited for hubby, waited while her child finally got scissors and made sure that damn camera was filming the whole time...it's an epidemic that's sick, twisted, selfish + ignorant. Put down the camera people!!!
@@Pisces-1978 it is such a strange reaction, right? Animal is trapped..where's my camera? Like, wtaf. Had a dodo moment of my own recently with a mouse. I didn't even think about filming it. Let's baby go when mom wasn't there. 😝
I like how the music and yellow color background keeps this all calm and not frantic like news channels would show this
Heart Touching Video.
Never leave any type of net on the ground. Any animal can get entangled in them. If they must be outside, raise them up at least 3 feet from the ground. What if it had been the mother entangled? That goes for netting on shrubs and trees. Unfortunately, nets and tree netting have strangled, maimed and killed many innocent critters, including cats and dogs. Glad the family rescued the fawn. Always hold on to the baby until Mom returns (and she will, if alive) so that she can fight off dogs from the babies.
Better yet, put sport nets inside and do nit use netting on shrubs and trees.
Yes thank u
Those damn fishing nets kill millions of unwanted fish, whales, etc. every year, but are needed to supply the world with seafood I guess.
@@augustreil You are correct. Horrible suffering for marine mammals and more.
Try telling that to the 5yr old who just takes it down and plays any time he wants and forgets it down.. easier to use deer proof nets..
@@augustreil we’re not talking about fishing nets. Duh.
Okay, but why wouldn’t you have gotten the scissors before attempting to free it? I mean, that’s common sense. It’s trapped in a freaking net. smh It seemed like it took forever for the girl to get the scissors, and I’m just watching, so I can only imagine what it was like for the mom.
Ikr?? I was like you didn't realize right away you were going to need scissors??
I found it odd anyone would . walk up until their prepared. Obviously the net will most likely need cutting so....be prepared since we know the animals are going to become very stressed.
With cords like that, you might not need scissors, and coming back outside may cause the fawn to thrash and trap itself more.
Mr. BDece “might” the point is to be prepared. The wife should’ve had scissors ready to go for when her husband showed up.
I really appreciate videos like these where people are helping animals. A few things, though. When approaching animals with sharp objects like knives & scissors it's better to conceal them than flaunt them in front of their terrified eyes; they know the functions of such things & they are not blessed with the insight that humans are trying to help. Shooting an animal in distress instead of the actual rescue helps no one, & it makes for a stressful video, so, maybe, one can refrain from shooting if they are terrified to be attacked by a petrified animal. & Lastly, keeping a net down when not in use is a great practice. Baby animals break their legs, birds tear their wings off because we are too lazy to fold up a freaking net.
Everytime I see humans helping animals, it gives hope and makes my day; thanks for the video.
Would have gone a lot faster if the chick hadn't played the helpless card and called the man to deal with it, then stood there like a maroon filming while he worked to free the baby by himself.
yup, how do can she live in that forested area, and be so utterly useless?
Completely agree. And she didn't even film the best bit, the 2 animals reuniting. Scatty Dorris
I believe she called for her husband because her kid daughter was there and with the mother deer panicking-if she tried helping the fawn she couldn’t make sure her own daughter was a good distance away hence the reason she kept saying “back up Haley back up..”
@@kayydee159 Heresay. That's pure guesswork. And she could have easily told her daughter to go indoors. There's no excuse to watch a baby animal in distress and not help it. None at all, sorry.
Ya, I thought what a helpless woman, put your own kid inside and take care of business already. Oh then she wouldn't have gotten the video. I would have lived and the fawn would have had much less stress. This is not my fave dodo.
Glad you rescued it, but why not have the scissors ready before even walking up to it. No sense stressing the fawn or doe out any longer than necessary. Not to mention having that doe put a thumping on you thinking you're hurting the fawn instead of saving it.
Thanks to this little girl for helping the fawn - going to get the scissors and sacrificing her soccer net.

Thank goodness that baby deer was rescued but nets should always be kept high enough off the ground which will help to prevent any animals getting trapped. Also whenever possible to cover the face of the animal loosely with a towel or something like that to help stop any animals from panicking.
Good to see humans doing good 👍😊
