Richard Whiteley died from complications from heart surgery on 26th June 2005. Ironically, he also died at the age 61, just like Revie.

Shaun Grogan it's strange how people like you call him a cheat BUT the likes of Matt Busby, Bill Shankly, Bill Nicholson, Ron Greenwood, Joe Mercer, Malcolm Allison, Alf Ramsey as well as many of the greatest players that this country has ever produced never regarded him or his teams as cheats. The only managers or players who have ever had a grudge against him were those who aspired to what he achieved but failed to get even close. Nobody but Forest fans remember Cloughs sides now and that rankled him because he was not an innovative player or manager all he was know for was arrogance and a big mouth.

Funny how Revie's biggest accuser turned out to be the most corrupt of them all, Brian "The Bung" Clough, everybody's favourite drunk! Why did the likes of Shanks have so much respect for Leeds, not to mention the whole of the Anfield Kop? Why were Charlton, Bremner and Hunter all voted player of the year, Hunter winning the first Players vote?
