- I felt like I really needed a quick and fun project, and one can simply never have too many witches hats. I have a few witch hats in more traditional fabrics, but I thought a straw witches hat would be a wonderful addition to my fall wardrobe.

I kind of like the unique shape that the rain gave the brim, it gives a bit of a saucy look to it that matches your own whimsical, fun approach that is such an endearing juxtaposition to your own beauty and the beautiful formality of your tailored clothing. After having watched several of your videos and shorts, I finally relented and subscribed, just now, because I enjoy you so much!

Thanks for sharing. To waterproof it, you might try some titebond II wood glue brushed on. However, I would only apply the wood glue to the brim. The wood glue dries really hard. If you coated the whole hat, the inside area (where the crown of the hat sits on your head) may become too stiff and uncomfortable to wear.
