- Hello glamour ghouls! Today we are making a DIY spring witch hat! If you're trying to have a Practical Magic spring/summer like I am, then this is the project for you! :)

Such a cute concept! Do be careful though if it gets particularly hot where you live (ESPECIALLY if you do a summer one later), as I've seen a lot of DIYers have wearable projects fall apart in the sun because the heat melts and reactivates the hot glue. If you notice any areas getting loose or worn, I highly recommend reinforcing with E6000 glue 💕

The hat is so pretty and you look like like the springiest of witches! Neat how it came together also. However, what blew me away most was the empty display case behind you! You know, this would be the time to display the spooky flowers we saw at Halloween.

A matching broom 🧹 you mentioned “Practical Magic” I can’t stop thinking of a broom 🧹 now 😅
The two purple sprigs of flowers are heather and lilac (heather being the sprigs with smaller flowers). The hat reminds me of a beehive, which is perfect for you. You could be the Bee Witch .... or Bee-Witched! Add a few fake bees to it.

If you get a chance check out the Dollar tree or the dollar store because they have straw hats. And where you did the thing to tie around neck and Chin if you did three on each side you could have braided them together. And at the top of the hat where it has the point you could have had a little spider or ladybug coming down on a strength I think the hats adorable

Hey girl!! So I can’t believe I’m just now discovering your videos! I feel like we are soul sisters haha! I just subscribed and spent some time (maybe too much) watching your vids lol. I love that you made this hat bc I saw the same TikTok and made my own too! I even have my own video of how I made mine on my channel! Anyway, it’s awesome to meet another person who takes Halloween and puts it into their daily life like I do! You’re awesome! 😁
I was going to comment about how much I wanted to do this, but my head is large and my hair is thick and the cheap straw hats just don't fit me. But then! I remembered that I do actually have a large straw hat from my reenacting days that mostly fits my head and can easily be added to! Now I just have to remember where I put it... (cackles in crafty witch mode)
