I really enjoy your videos and have wanted to learn to do this. I’m disabled due to a car wreck 9/2010 caused by a young adult texting on their iPhone. My husband has changed one of spare rooms into a craft room to get me up and doing what I love it’s just so hard when you are in pain 24/7. Please continue to share your amazing talents.
Thank you so much for watching and for your support! I am so sorry to hear about your accident, and sending you lots of healing energy. It’s awesome your hubby set up a craft room, and I am planning on do a bunch more crafts coming up! Big hugs!!💕

wow! you have so much talent! I think you are very good at explaining your art and I feel you make a great teacher. I am so inspired right now. I have attempted calligraphy in the past" spent so much money on special pens, nibs, ink cartridges, ink refills, special paper, time to clean the pens and nibs, oh my goodness the list goes on and on... lets just say I feel like I wasted a lot of money and time on doing something that I did become good at with a lot of practice and as long as I cared for my tools properly otherwise my pens took forever to get back in working condition or were plain unfixable and were trash. finally, my last gripe; if I just wanted to quickly write down a name or thank you note or whatever I couldn't...it was again a super long process. but after watching this, you've shown me an alternative that is so much more realistically do-able. I mean pretty much everyone has crayola pens or like pens somewhere in their house whether you have kids or not.and if you don't, you can get them everywhere for cheap and not have to take a trip to a specialty or craft store and spend an arm and a leg for a writing tool. seriously, Im super excited. I just need to learn your style of writing. its absolutely beautiful. I have always written in old English and a version of old English that I made up, but never went any further into other styles of lettering. your lettering is so fancy and you make it look so simple. like I said, you have a lot of talent. in going to check out your playlists now and see what else I can learn from you. thank you! oh ya, if you are still writing out names...mine is Danyiel. 😄

Always loved lettering and am just now getting back into it.. Was able to borrow my granddaughters crayola markers to try this out and loved it.. Keep up the great work and videos. you have an amazing talent.. Thanks for sharing!
Love your techniques!...wish I could see more of you actually writing, your thumb gets in the way a bit because of how you hold your marker with your thumb, a little unorthodox. Great job using the markers!
Love this video, I am a calligrahper! But didn't know which makers worked best!. This will help me learn different ways to have fun with pens and markers!!!
Hi, I'm Jayne and I got this party as soon as I could. I've managed to acquire/collect pens of all walks of life but never in my wildest dreams thought to use Crayola markers. Guess I'm stopping at the nearest store to pick up a pack and start playing/practicing a new lettering option! Thanks so much for the inspiration!!!
I've just bought a set of crayola super tips and found so difficult to use them. I search on google and see your video. So usefull!!!! I've written by them without so much time practising. Thank you so much!
I love, I have been wanting to learn just so I can write hand written letters to loved ones. This gives me something that is affordable and obtainable and give me encouragement to learn . My name is Abigail I would live to be added to the jar!!
I only recently became interested in learning this writing. Isn't it funny how this coincides with schools not teaching cursive anymore...I hope that isn't true! Your methods are easy to follow and practice is a must.
Thanks...this makes doing calligraphy easier & fun for people who want to ‘write pretty” but don’t want to do formal calligraphy. Crayola also publishes a beginner calligraphy how-to coloring style book that they were selling at Dollar Tree along wit a 6-pack of markers. This was back in the fall...not sure if they’re still available. It has blank lined pages for practicing and gives simple instructions. I gave this and some markers to my 10 year old niece and she got into it right away.
I have started to try calligraphy I got the Crayola calligraphy book at the Dollar Tree. It has made my lettering much nicer but I have not figured out the pressure yet. I would love to see my name. Christelle
Oh my gosh! This was such a beautiful video! It definitely inspires me to actually go out and buy those crayola markers and try it for myself! (: Also, really love the ombre effect with the green and dark greens! Looked really intriguing and pretty.

super cool Emily! Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate the support! Its a fun hobby for sure and so glad my videos have inspired in some way 💕
I use super tips and I agree, the way you hold your crayola marker is easiest for me. It helps me get both thick downtsrokes and super thin upstrokes. Great video by the way. Your r's are gorgeous. My r's are really simple--mostly because I'm still not very good at them. Do you think you could show us the alphabet with Crayola?
Hi Lyla! Seriously, thank you for taking the time to comment. It really means a lot! I can maybe do a video of the alphabet! I will add that to my wish list of videos!

Love your name too and F's can be tricky. I usually write my uppercase F's more like a number seven. I think I took a version of cursive I learned from grade school but then made it my own. It might help to google fonts and then play around with different styles. Pinterest has tons too!! Thanks for watching and I will add your name Flin!
Please do my name Brenda. You do such a fabulous job. Just found you. Can't wait to see all your awesome work. I want to learn calligraphy so bad. My Dad used to be amazing at it. He did all his Christmas cards using it on the envelopes. Would sit and watch him do it for hour's. He sent out over 100 cards every year too. Brave man. 😃. I didn't get his talent not sure I could ever learn how to do it. But sure would love if I could. 😔
That is such a wonderful memory! I hope I can help encourage you to just start practicing! It’s amazing how you can learn and improve if you letter a little every day! Thanks for your support and for watching. I’ll add your name to the bowl! 💕💕
