Why aren't Pastors discussing this fundamental topic? I address this earlier in the discussion. I believe the primary issue is fear of losing money (Matt 6:24) and losing man's approval (John 12:42-43). The evidence for Biblical Cosmology, like the resurrection, is overwhelming both in Scripture and outside of it, so the rejection is a matter of the heart. "For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God," - 2 Peter 3:5
"Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! 2 It is like the precious oil on the head, running down on the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes! 3 It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion! I think God would get dizzy watching the earth not only spinning around. But also flying through space spinning. Why would God make it more difficult to watch his creation from his throne above

In order for gravity to exist. It would have to be alive. It would have to calculate the weight of every object and control how much it will allow each object to move up and down and side to side.

I grew up in Fla. And as a kid on the gulf coast I could see things out on the water that seemed to be above the horizon. I was a kid and just didn't understand. But now that videos are available and a FE it makes perfect sense! In the last few yrs I took a high zoom camera to both Tampa Bay and lake Apopka. We all need to break free from addictions and The key to beating addiction is not relying on your own strength but completely relying on God's strength. Just ask God to free you from this addiction.Whenever I get tempted I mentally say "I take captive all my thoughts to the obedience of Christ". There is definitely evil spirits that attack you and can cause you to remain in this sin so it is also important to pray for deliverance from these evil spirits too. Also another tip is to not envy those who are still partaking in their addictions but instead pity them and be grateful that you aren’t a slave to addiction like they are anymore.

Understanding day 2 and day 4 of creation will tell you a lot about the construct of the "'ereṣ", the "šāmayim", and the "rāqîa". I suggest wiping the slate clean and just read Gen 1 for yourself. And use blue letter bible web page to look up the Hebrew meanings. As an engineer with optical experience I can say this from a physics standpoint. The "planets" above us are limited to monocular viewing. In empirical terms, we know very little about them. We can see them, we can measure colors, we can measure angular size, we can measure luminosity (but not 100%). I'm not sure what you think about Enoch 1. But if its true there is a lot more info in it than in the protestant canonized bible.
I’m only 15 minutes in. I appreciate this message and agree that it might be the most important topic of the times that can lead people to Christ. But I feel compelled to state that I strongly disagree with Josh when he said, “scientific trinity”. As of a year ago, I am no longer a Trinitarian. Out of the seemingly countless debates I have listened to, in addition to the scriptures of course, I have never seen any scientific evidence for the Trinity. In fact I feel it is as much a deception as is the spinning globe. A side note only and not meant to attack Josh or the video. Thank you all.
@@livemusic thanks for sharing! Several things to address on Christology: 1. Man is made in the Image of God (Gen 1:27). Therefore, mortal man's makeup is the best natural example we have of the divine God. One Man is made up of three parts; Mind, Body, & Spirit (Rom 8:6, 1 Thess 5:23, Deut 6:5). My mind, body, and spirit are all me. This means the one God (Deut 6:4) is also made up of three; Father, Son, Spirit (John 1:1, 1:18, John 14:7-9, Matt 28:19, John 4:24) and all three are God. - God is Father (Matt 6:9, 1 Cor 1:3). - God is Word / Son (John 1:1, 18, 2 Peter 1:1). - God is Spirit (John 4:24, Acts 5). 2. Well before Nicaea, Paul informed the Philippians of Jesus’ divinity. In Philippians 2:5-11, Paul asserts Jesus has the nature of God (v6), equality with God (v6), He made Himself (v7), and His name is above all names (v9); How could Jesus’ name, or anything about Jesus for that matter, be “above” God? His name cannot be above the Father’s name, the Tetragrammaton, unless they are truly one Being. By stating "He made Himself nothing" (v7) and "humbled Himself" (v8), Paul explains how Jesus could be in the flesh and, temporarily, not know what the Father knew (Mark 13:32). We know this is the case as Hebrews 2:9 affirms "But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while..." (Greek "Brachus", short time). Peter also explicitly refers to Jesus as God our Savior (2 Peter 1:1). Likewise, Thomas calls Jesus “God” while bowed before Him and Jesus does not correct him (John 20:28). 3. Jesus is the Word of God (John 1:1) made flesh (v14), who is Himself God (v1, 18). Again, using humans made in the Image of God as our example… my words proceed from me and simultaneously are me. For example, if you cannot see me, but can hear me speaking, you would know “that’s him, that’s Rich”, you would not think it was someone else if you knew my voice; because my voice proceeds from me, it is me, it is not separate from me as it cannot proceed from anything but me. Whether we articulate it properly or not, Trinitarian theology is a Scripturally based attempt to explain the complexities of God's divine nature. To be sure, it's difficult to express, as are all beautiful things, but it is not heretical to state that the Father is God, Jesus is God, and the Spirit is God any more than it is to say that my mind is me, my body is me, and my spirit is me. May the Lord bless you!
