I enjoy my quiet time on Saturday nights at 10:00 p.m. when one of my local TV stations, Daystar, airs the sermon that most will view on Sunday mornings. I try to preview the message by looking through the sermon notes prior to air time. When the program starts, the notes and his sermon make me forget that Dr. Stanley is now at home with the Lord. I am fully attentive to what I hear and the supportive scriptures he uses. Thank You, Father God, for the continued blessings and growth that I and others receive through these teachings from a man who taught Your Word with such simplicity that even a child could understand. 💜✝️🛐🙏💜Amen💜.

We will understand that christian life is truly a walk of faith So how can we do it Faith is a confidence conviction that God will do what he has promised Steps of growing in faith 1. Facing and overcoming obstacles: he is going to use us in proportion to our faith (he knows us to make us get it) 2. Understanding the nature of God: faithful 3. Meditate on the word of God: we can get direction through his word, read it and observe it happen (it is the fuel for our faith) 4. Apply the principles of God's word: when we read we need to apply it in our life (we see the evidence of God growing in our life) 5. Observing the word of God how it works: he uses suffering to grow you in you faith, he can be silent, he makes us wait 6. Observing God's work in the life of others 7. Obey God and leave all the consequences to him: no matter what it costs Obedience honors God We must put faith in it 8. Answered prayers: praying with expectations, assurance, confidence 9. Worship: confessing truth 10. Confess our faith failure: ask for another opportunity
I only wish that I could be close to God like he was. I always seem to stumble but God is always there to pick me back up and get me turned in his direction. Unconditional love of God. He loves everyone, no matter what you have done . He is able and just to forgive you. The only thing I ever got for free in life was his salvation. And you know what ? That’s all I need! Unfortunately if you believe that, you will achieve that. Your faith will be tested, and I agree it is hard and discouraging, but believe me, you're not alone. At times it may feel like it, but dont give up!
