Very educational and interesting. Personally I would use the aluminium shroud to make an amber tinted fibreglass shroud, but each to his own. With relation to the holes, I would have larger exit louvres before larger inlet holes.
The owner wanted aluminum. Good news about the air flow is the car is back on the road with the 3.6 and the new cooler/fan set up works a treat. No further mods needed.
Thanks much! You'll love the rivet fan. It's like cheating! I've found Aircraft Spruce is a pretty good supplier for rivet-related stuff. Tool, supplies, etc.
Nice work, I've been enjoying your videos. I'm just up in Guerneville and am an avid hobby restorer also of 60's/70's Euro stuff. Hope to bump into you sometime, would be great to compare notes.
Great vid, Chris! ..... if all of a sudden you forget how to build cars, you can make and edit video! You will never starve 😀
Glad you enjoyed! But I think you're just sucking up in prep for a Subbie swap! ;-)
On rivnuts I use some loctite to secure them even beter… Very nice metal work!
That's an interesting idea. I'll have to give that a try. Thanks for the suggestion!
Excellent metalwork..
Thanks very much, glad you're enjoying!
Great job Chris, you do you have some pretty cool tools. A “rivet fan” never heard of it, but now I want one. Keep up the good work.
Get one! You can never have too many tools... Thanks for your continued support, too!

Love seeing your process. I'm about to start doing some of my own 914 mod pieces as well. Got my Plasma cutter working as well!
You'll love what you can do with a plasma table!
Great work Chris!
Thanks. It's funny when I watch it how it seems to take FAR less time than in real life! I know you know what I'm talking about...
Nice work Chris! Love the bead roller action. I ordered a rivet fan!

Great to hear you're liking what you see. Next time you're in Petaluma, let me know. I'd be happy to host you At The Red Barn!
@@attheredbarn1669 Yeah that would be a blast. How would I contact you?
