The fact that he's had the car with him throughout his life makes the donuts all the more sweeter.
I feel every car guy wants to have "that car".
Joshua Moore seriously, I'm surprised he did it.
This is one of those episodes that is just solid all the way through. I learned a lot and it had fun burnouts. The DT's just keep getting better.
It was good because 95% of it was about the car, and the owner. Rather than the common DT thing that 60% of the episode is random tangents like Hert and Kikawa's relationship, Hoonigan staff talking shit to one another, etc. - Not that thats bad, just nice to focus on the cars.
I think a nice mix is needed. You need episodes that update us with everyone and you need ones that are just informative and cool like this one. Honestly i think overall everything they are doing is on point these days. They have a lot of content possibilities just need to organize how we get it.
Brew with Jeff would be something interresting for sure,he must have some crazy story!
Live
Something about this made me real happy.
Seeing an old dude in his old car doing skids and loving it!
Yeah but does the lip retract?
But....Is it a chair?
Mkiv :D
Hehehehe I got the refference, gave me a good giggle :)
But that's the R31 😂
what a fast dad!
Yes
no ur a fast dad
dj is
Can I be the fast daddy?
It’s daaaad time it’s time for daaad
Hert's shirt- "What?"
Hert -"What?"
Haha i was like "really!?" ;D
I went to school with Jeff at the Art Center College of Design. I drooled every time I’d see Jeff drive up in his 911-6. His plates were: ITSASIX. How Jeff would get his camera gear in that classic will forever be a mystery. The car and its owner are legend.
*You guys have turned simple garage hangs into internet video GOLD. 2 Thumbs Up!*
PLATINUM!
the 914 is my favorite Porsche so simple yet so well done
Owning a car for 45 years... Goals
aHIGHasian I'm 6 years into owning my current car, 39 to go!
it need to be worth it tho, not a bullshit car.
any difference and time comes around. I kept a tin can ten geared dual range, dual port subaru..it is just gaining attention now at 31 yrs old. I only have it for 11yrs. Keep anything different.. the hate fades.
I really want my current car to be my forever car.
I'm at 16 years with my 1988 Porsche 944 Turbo!
Who ever chooses the music for the videos deserves a raise! Spot on perfect tracks for the cars
WOW! This has to be one of my most favorite DT episode! Guy is awesome, Hert is awesome
A 914 dash at Donut Garage! You have no idea how happy this made me!
That feelings when you wake up to some Hoonigan content. What a way to start off the day.
45 years?
i can't even own a car for 45 days
Backyard Built I cant even buy one :)
dont sell your jzx. at your pace everything on it will be brand new replacements next year
Any man who can say they've owned a car for 45+ years, of which he beat on it constantly and still continues to show love and passion for said car after all these years and isn't afraid to toss it around is COOL by us. Those are FUCKING goals. You sir, deserve a beer!
Love the commitment for owning that for so long, what a treat
Brian getting in that tiny car instantly made me think Chris Farley "Fat guy in a little coat"
Probably the best interview yet! This doode is a living piece of history!
One burnout and he turns into a maniac! Love it, nice job guys
Wait wait wait..
the people at hoonigan grow up?
Uriah Siner physically yes, mentally no. Once a scumbag, always a scumbag. #Hoonigan
Uriah Siner no they just get more scumbaggy
Pffft grow up never
Uriah Siner I
Broke back my favorite memory of my 914/6. Coming home at night from work on the big sweeping exit ramp. As I am coming into the sweeper I see two cars side by side on the road I'm going to merge on. The were going pretty quick and I decided to show them what quick was. I came out about 30 yards ahead and just punched it. One car kept following as I was slowing down. And then the lights came on. It was a NYS Trooper. He didn't give me a ticket, he just wanted to see what I was driving. I'll never forget that.
DT and DTT are part of my morning routine now. coffee, breakfast, hoonigan. all part of a balanced morning.
The grin he has in the very beginning while doing a donut is priceless. Pure joy, lol.
love this man hes a true badass please bring him back for more
That Porthche ith thweet
AHEM, Porthche-a, have some decency
I have to Admire the commitment sir. Well done.
KingOfNines its funny when people that can't speak German try to pronounce Porsche
Mike Tython *VW-Porsche anywhere but North America.
wouldnt it be porth
That little 914 is gnarly as hell, what a rad little car...and that flat 6 sounds amazing...
This guy is a gem. Love that’s it’s first car and he can daily and race this best. Beside the fact that I’m a 914 fan true and true. I sooo want this car😎
Something you won’t know about a 914-6 till you drive one is you can hear the chain noise sing a it revs, the engine flipped around and exhaust out back puts the fan and chain boxes right behind your ear only separated by a thin firewall. It is a completely unique sound that you can not get in a 911. 914-6 front suspension, engine, transmission, brakes are all standard 911 parts but the unique chassis layout makes it a 914. Designed by Porsche, stamped out and welded together by Volkswagen, the sixes were all assembled by Zuffenhusen. The are a serious car for Motorsports. I’ve built a few of them and love ‘em ❤️.
One of my all time favorite oddball cult classic cars 🙌
Favourite Daily Trans so far. What a legend
Absolute dream ride. teh 914 is awesome. V6 are rare.
People put aluminum V8 in that little cart. Mid engine FTW.
I hate yellow cars.. ok, but this?... oh hell.
The man responsible for this beaut', Mr Zwart, is a legend.
Thanks for showcasing this one Hoonigan crew.
There gotta be some VW love over there, especially after the Baja adventure.
I have one - currently a iron block aluminum head v8 but working on an all aluminum LS7 build
wow this is the most kickass thing I've seen in a while!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who doesn’t love a well maintained old school motor that sounds like that. I tip my hat to you Jeff
Fantastic 914, to say the least. Very exciting little car! What else is exciting? Seeing that the FB is being worked on in the background.
I can only hope I'm half this cool when I'm his age. Awesome. He was having fun you could tell it brought back memories. Super cool how long and what he's accomplished in that car. That's dedication. Hell I bought ,built and sold my first car before I even got my liscense.
Hert *what* me:notices hertz shirt
What. A. Beauty. That car is amazing. This man is a living legend!!
Props. That video was great. Definitely one of my fav Hoonigan vids now.
One of the more pretty episodes on DT. Awesome job guys!
GREAT CINIMATAGRAPY The CLOSE UP OF Jeff Zwar was the moment of the whole interview ,just an other drive through the classic donut shop, showing us how its done!
On a scale of 1 to Dad, that wrap was an 11
That's one of my favorite episodes, definitely.
A brew with Jeff would be alsome
Daddyyyy, I was looking for you 😂😂
The color is dope!! One of the most famous Porsches ever is yellow.
Great dt! Probably the best, quickest non Hert "wrap". Jeff's a rad dude.
more old guys with old cars, pls. this plus yesterday, I love the stories and the attitudes.
Whoever is in charge of beauty shot music at Hoonigan is a legend
Damn. 4 hood pins... YA HEAR THAT, HERT? FOUR!!!
Seeing a 914 do a burnout and donuts was one of the coolest moments on this show. Add in that it was Jeff’s car just made it even better.
It'd be great if you guys would leave a link of the name of the songs during beauty shots.
toshiro hitsugaya and the outro
It's in the description.... ua-cam.com/video/Nr67MzGViK0/v-deo.html

I always have to turn down the volume when i start a Hoonigan video. Love it
Dude, the yellow is dope ! And I dig the Hella lights are so rad, perfect choice !
Thanks 4 the memory as a Airmen with a Wine colored 76 914 in Ft Worth Tx Cornering on a freeway with a Gt 308 and keeping pace , I remember the face of that man , his face said it all “ are you kidding me “
Got to be my favorite episode
That is one beautiful car. Sheeeeeeeesh
Kickass.. more of these automotive legends!
some cars can do yellow, same cant! that porsche certainly can!
Any friend of Scumbag Scott's, Is a friend of ours
This man is my hero. After hearing the story about how he got the car and also having the bolas to do burnouts with a Porsche 914/6 . Those motors are not cheap and are Magnesium or aluminum depending on year.
Ahh cool!!! Another episode where we drive really nice cars in circles.
Something about this episode just makes me so happy
914s are supercool. Low slinging sleds. A singular design masterpiece.
Beautiful car. Hert, nice run-through donut face-shot thingy... :-)))
Brian Scotto is Tall man in a Car from that Simpsons episode. " Do you find something comical about my appearance when I am driving my automobile? "
Jeff is a good guy, seems like a dude everyone would get along with. Lets all be more like jeff.
i, myself, am trying to get my uncles porsche 914 (i don't know if it's a 4 or 6 i haven't taken a good look at it). it's been sitting a garage for 18 years and i'm just sadden by the fact that it's not being used. it's a passion project of mine to get it driving again, but everyone says i should just buy a new one; i think they don't know what their saying. hope i could finish before i turn 23 (i'm 20 now).
I really liked the longer "Beauties" section you did. More beauty shots are always a good thing!
This was the nicest thing to see after writing a tech report for the last few hours...its 3am, im exhausted, but at least I have this
woop woop New Zealand getting some Love.
This was awesome
What a dreams goals... he still rockin is car !!
Wow 4 hood pins....4 more then hert :/
Hands down the best looking car you guys have ever had at the donut garage!
What a legend 🙏 would love to meet him and just listen to his stories 🙏🙌👑
Hell Yeah brother! dope show been watching since ep 1.
Scotto, you're the real MVP. Thanks for giving these scumbags the platform to enable them to do rad shit like this daily. You the man!
The colour is fantastic!
This guy is badass. Always appreciate the scumbags for introducing legends into my life.
Humble guy... Good personality, Good car !
Old school is Gold Skool
That thing is friggin AMAZING!
I see a 914 I click like. Simple as that.
The 4 banger has more room as the engine is mounted further back. I have wedged into the back space with the fake plastic seats in one. So you might be able to own one Brian.
It always amazes me how attached we can be toward materialistic items.
Seeing old people do cool stuff is awesome
yall get the coolest songs for the beauty shots
I fell in love with this car as soon as a heard it.
Perfect donuts all on the throttle 👍
Thank you for including the music.
cleaneest 914-6 I've ever seen!
What an awesome, and humble dude.
It is not a flat 6, it’s a boxer type engine. Remember these were sold as both a Porsche & Volkswagen. 6’s we’re all badged as Porsche, 4’s we’re all Volkswagen. Some differences were shocks, steering, my 4 cylinder was injected, earlier models or some mods were multi carburetors. You can interchange front ends, transaxles, engines from a Boxer as upgrade. I’ve seen one with an LS, some how they fit. I had a friend who started a junkyard full. I needed a front end, we took the croakiest road in Tennessee to get there. His grandfather had owned a farm between Rogersville & Sneedville. He had 5-6 wrecks over there, plus 2-3 at home. The Porsche dealer had him on speed dial. He bought any wrecked Porsche he could find. He had a 914-6 that got passed at 140 on the bridge near my house. If I had mo money at the time I probably would’ve kept mine, but you can’t own them all. At least not I my 20’s. Worst design fault was the rear axles the wheel could drop down far enough that the axle slipped out. Had that happen with a girlfriend 75 miles from home. Had to call her parents, O we are staying the night together, till car gets fixed.
I'll own a 914-6 soon! Thanks for the fantastic video!!!!!
Such a cool looking Car with a great sounding engine
See him smiling old mate was loving it
That 914-6 is stellar!
This deserves more views
This dude is a total Legend!
If I wasn't 6"3 300 pounds I'd totally have a hard-on for one of these lil Porsche's!!!
Tyler powell 6’5” here. No way I’ll ever have one
simply , Thank you!.
