My god that gun has amazing atomization! Looks like you are spraying liquid glass! Only sad part is the rest of the car will need a hell of a buff job to make that oem paint job match the gloss of what you sprayed.
Well you can't fault the finish but a plastic gun!! how have 3M been able to engineer an air cap and nozzle out of plastic that produces a finish like that and be able to replicate those parts in plastic hundreds and thousands of times while keeping the tolerances the same as plastic is not known for it's precision in making each part completely the same, after all an air cap has to be made the same each time to give a consistent finish. The tech behind this is amazing I just wish 3M thought of the home/diy user and made a LVLP/Trans-Tech cap for the small compressors. John UK.
Great finish man. You seem to have changed your technique by starting in the middle and not pushing the wet edge from one side over the bonnet. I've tried both methods too. They have a big fan eh and lay that clear nice. Good job man. 🇦🇺👍
i think 3m have missed a trick for the beginners if they done a rp version that would have been great for us with loads of guns its got its place for convenience but can see it working out expensive to replace the heads over time but looks to atomize well top work as always 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
I'm up in the air with this gun because the other 3m gun is crap. Could you get some good Instagram photos of the orange peel that it's getting with this new 3m gun. You seam happy with it but I'm still leary about it.
The other gun wasn't crap, I guess it depends on what you are using it for. I used it for some primers and intercoat clear and flake couldn't ask for a better result.
This guy is a professional. He could probably lay glass with a HF gun. Good enough for Gunman, good enough for me.
That colour really pops when you applied the clear coat you must be well chuffed with the result Gunny great video again mate Rob

I bought this gun after watching your videos. I spray liquid wrap called Raail performance coatings. Peelable paint. Lays the clear perfect!

Great job!
It looks like 3M sorted out the issues of the old PPS plastic gun.
Nice work. I am always amazed at the results you get from so many different guns. !!!!

I just finished clear coating a bedside with this spray gun an it is just great 👌
Fantastic as always! I love that blue.
Beautiful! Wonderful work!
Came out really nice thank you for the video
That bumper cover looks like a PITA.
What clear did you spray. What didn't seem like high solids but still atomized great. That stuff is harder to spray.
beautiful job bro
Yes really good when I apply to non sanding filler too.
What what pressure (PSI) did you spray that clear on with?
You did sat you uses the 1.3 tip, correct?
29
What gun to use for clear? H v l. P or conventional? 1.4 or 1.2.?
Try the 1.2 tip for clear. It works really good too!
What pressure? Don't tell me 20
What PSI do you recomment for clearcoat on that gun? (1.3 tip)
great finish!
application seemed slow and high consumption! sorry for English !
I used to set 2 bar air when I used this gun but I feel more air pressure
Had 1 of these for afew months now never buying a devilbiss again
