nicely done gunman..its always so refreshing to watch this.i always can feel your energy and passion..and been my inspiration when I'm working. take care gunman.god bless u.
I love how you spray all different kinds of guns and give honest reviews. Some Sata guys act like you must have a $1200 gun to get a good finish and are so stuck in their ways they won't even try another gun!
@@TheGunmanRAW Price trend is also the same like the iPhone, each generation getting more expensive. I just noticed that a new Sata X5500 aircap&nozzle&needle set is 250 euro. Totally insane. As if they use gold in it.
Hi Gunny now you have used the gpi again should I use it for the panels that are of my mg or stick with the pro lite with the t110. Don't forget I'm using the Quartz liquid glass extra fast with 5% voc speedster.
what are your thoughts on getting a SGK600 there in the low 200,s now at a few Melbourne outlets, ive been using some crappy low budget guns and getting some fair results but would love to lift the game a bit without spending heaps of money love to know our thoughts on this cheers mate
Hey Gunman,I have got the GPI gun but I'm thinking change it for GTI Pro Lite..my question,is ,the big difference between finishig clear coat of this guns?Whether is it worth to change GPI for GTI Pro Lite?
Wanted to ask your opinion on masking. I notice you run your plastic to the tape line I've been taught to paper to the paint line then plastic..to keep the overspray from flaking off the plastic and getting in the wet paint when it blows around from the air pressure..? Your professional opinion?
Most of the newer plastics are coated on one side so the paint doesn't flake off. If your plastic says "paint this side up" its probly coated and your safe to run your plastic to the tape. Papering is old school but some guys still like it that way.
@@alexschneider4184 thank you for the reply, Alex I still spray from time to time but yes I learned old school but still want to keep up with new Trix and methods so I don't miss out..just couldn't make the flat rate a career so I got out of the collision industry..but I love it..it's in my blood thanks again!
Nice finish man, love watching your videos. Just picked up a pro lite the other day so going to be giving it a whirl with some clear this week. On a side note, what regulator(s) would you suggest? Ani or something g else
Yeah man, that GPI is a great spray gun for the $$. My go to for solid colors but also does a really nice job for clear. I was pleasantly surprised. Nice video gunny. Paint some shit! Cheers.
hello friend. here I am writing through a translator in the hope of communicating. or you do not answer to Russian. I expressed my admiration for the work of your material. I can ask advice
We have downdraft booths and I always tape the plastic down so it's not flapping around and partially because when you spray a big job the paint will still kind of start coming up into the underbody. Is it alot? No.. but like I said mainly because I cant stand when plastic is just flapping everywhere like a shit taco that cost 50 cents. Well the old timer was giving me shit about it and couldn't understand MY point of why I do it. I don't wanna be disrespectful because he knows his shit but man I felt like I was talking to a wall.. Haha. I'm a millenial and do things like a donkey according to him lol wtf mate??!!
Unfortunately some of the older guys lose the passion for the trade, it's just a way to make money. Like the 59yo guy at work who just mixes up a full pot of paint for every job, then when I mention it he just uses the excuse that he's old 😂
Accompanying you here from Brazil. Great job.

Great review gunman, must be a fantastic gun, because I have one 👌👌
Good morning Gunny, that is beautiful clear work. You just can't beat a Devilbiss paint gun. Thanks for another great video you take care.
Thanks again Steve
What did you apply to the two doors before you applied the base color? I couldn’t hear you well.
Clear basecoat, it is used for a wet bed for blending basecoat.

Why do you clear first before you lay base over the repair area?
It's a wet bed. Its actually a clear base helps the blend.

Hey man, what was the pressure on the 1 2 3 layer? and what head on the gun?
Devilbiss guns are the best for your money. Ive sold a few already at my job. The dv1 looks great. You try cromax pro or standoblue yet with the dv1?
Awesome Gunman ! 👍😁
