Ok this has got to be the most useful honest review on a gaming unit I've ever seen. Not based of the benchmarks but based off real world use. 👍 I've been going back and forth on which handheld to get and this just made it easy for me.
fantastic video that has made the buying process easier when looking for the right handheld. Finally a video that doesn't spend the entire time saying does what better and just talks about one device that i actually want to know about.
This was super helpful. As a father i saw this thing and thought, with this i may have the time to play some of the pc games i have. Be because of the kids i can rarely just chill at my desktop for hours. It comes on friday and i cannot wait. Thanks for the oddly specific review for a person in my situation.
I have one and love it had 3 allys they all fried the SD card ports wasn't a fan of my steam deck .. nice to see a review where it's not continuously being bashed .. subbed
Nice vid! One suggestion: instead of sleep mode when you hit the power button on the legion go, change your settings to Hibernate. This way the device won’t accidentally wake up on travel. The boot up process is still pretty quick. Other than that, quite refreshing to see a positive video about the Go.

As a steam deck owner I've been itching to get a windows based handheld as linux is garbage. The ally missing a track pad and such a small screen just put me off it. Definitely looking at getting this as a handheld/dock set up with an egpu. Only thing that puts me off the Lenevo is the speakers are terrible and I've heard that the joycons are loose and have had problems with the clip mechanism
if you leave steam open then press install with your desktop online it will transfer the game files from your pc if that game is installed, just so you know backing up then transfering is a waste of time

Anyway. This was refreshing. I’m basically looking for reinforcement after I bought this on impulse. It’s legit great. Trying to get my sister into gaming so I’ve pretty much given the TV up to her and tbh I don’t miss the bigger screen. This screen is the bomb. A niche advantage is that GeForce Now looks eye-popping good. Forza Horizon 5’s visuals come together amazingly in the smaller screen area. Great video!
Loved this video from a Dad’s perspective! I often have family come to visit which renders my office/guest room unavailable. Would love to see more content regarding the legion go and other games tested. How do you feel about the battery life? Do you find yourself plugged in all the time or do you try to play on battery?
Battery life is very dependent on settings/games. I think the battery life is fine. I can get a few hours of battery from a big game which is I need or turn on the battery saving settings and run something light for several hours and still have battery left
I just recently got the legion go too and the way I downloaded games was just clicking download on the legion go, and it said transferring instead of downloading, and it was using my pc as a server without any setup. Also I think you missed the mode where you use the mouse with the right controller and the left controller as normal, I use that for playing overwatch on the go.
lenovo learned alot with the first legion, with the legion go 2 its going to be even better. i couldn't get it cause of the size, fan noises and poor battery life

in the video there was a mention of upscaling doing most of the heavy lifting on starfield, how do we turn on that upscaling option? is it on legion space?
I did mention the fan was loud when turned all the way up. I don’t think you’d need them maxed out unless you’re playing something really intense for a long while. I didn’t have any heat issues running the fans on a lower speeds.
Wtf is that camera looking thing on the right side of the legion go screen it creeps me out. I have the legion go and never saw it in the UA-cam videos

It wasn’t working for me at first so I forced it to that way. After a steam client update it fixed itself and works automatically now again 🤝

Its a great machine feels great plays most games witgout issues

In case you didn't know, you can take off the joystick caps for extra comfort in FPS mode!

Idky you had to do all that work for transferring games, steam innately downloads games from logged in steam accounts on the network first …

steam lets you transfer the game file from one device to another if login in with the same account and in the same network
It was hit or miss for me. I need to troubleshoot. It’s probably my network. It would still download it from steam even though I had the proper setup.

It’s supposed to be just an ambient light sensor 👀I assume to adjust screen brightness automatically.

Unless your network is utter crap a 120mb/sec SD card will NOT be faster than 1,000MB/sec ethernet (provided your network is good).
