Nice video and adorable flock! I had a flock of golden comets and cuckoo Marans when I lived in Maryland that we had to rehome last summer when we moved to northern Florida. The people who took over our flock had Eggers and they were so stinking cute! After 7 months of no chickens (and expensive nasty store bought eggs) in our new home we new it was time to pull out the brooder and start our new flock! Found a wonderful chicken breeder here who sold “Americanas” aka Eggers, so we included four of them with our dozen starter chicks. We do love the eggs but the girls are also our pets and they bring us a lot of joy and entertainment, the rest of the flock have similar temperaments (Brahmas, silkies, orpingtons, australorp) and the Eggers are the queens of the flock! We also have a gold laced Wyandotte who looked similar to our Eggers as a chick (They are a mix of gold, blue/gray/brown/rust…I call it “harvest blend 🤣”) and they have adopted her as the 5th Eggers in their “cool chick” gang 🐔. They are 15 wks old now and even though I wouldn’t call them a “Lap Chicken” yet, they all allow us to cuddle them once we catch them…such beautiful birds…so excited to see their eggs!
Mine looks so much like your white chicken! She lays cream colored eggs which is so interesting, and our other Easter egger lays the greenish blue ones like you showed. They're a beautiful breed ❤
She's pretty. I've only got one Ameraucana and she's in with a coop full of Buff Orpingtons. Pretty rough bunch where it comes to other chickens but Silver holds her own. She does tend to do her own thing but she's definitely not at the bottom of the pecking order. Got three easter eggers in another coop with some Copper Marans but they came down from a cross with Cream Legbars. Kind of odd after several months of laying their egg colors still change a bit. One of them sometimes drops the brown and lays a pretty blue egg but typically a light green. And another will sometimes lay a light olive color egg. They claim that doesn't happen but it certainly does. They also say that chickens can't regurgitate but I have witnessed at least one of those girls hop up on a bucket and drain the fluid from her crop. Don't really know why I got those birds but they turned out to be pretty girls and pretty solid layers. And one of them has a hawk radar that's magical. Swear that girl can hear them flying through the air. Just know when she makes her little cricket noise a hawk will soon be buzzing past.
Mine layed two cream color eggs then a very light beige egg I figure it may get a bit darker as her innered get sorted out as she gets a bit older. Yes I know all 3 eggs was her's she is the only female. I hope to get chicks from her later her and my rooster will make beautiful babies.
so cute❤ I also bought easter and raised it for 4 months but it looks completely different, and I don't know what species it is. Did the staff take it wrong?😅
I really like my Easter Egger girls. Sweet temperament and less noisy than my previous Red X cross girls.
Aww that’s amazing!! So far everyone tells me their Easter egger are very kind

I have Easter egger chicks hatching every day. .. some of mine look a lot like yours.
I enjoy your videos..
When our Easter egger gets food in her beard, our olive egger eats it off.
So cute!!
I ended up with clean faced easter eggers, but they are so fun!

Since easter eggers are a mixed breed they can all look different and be different colors :)
