I moved to NZ, so there's no chance i'll get a keyring, but I used to work on loads of UK industrial estates as a Sparky. Your channel is really taking off now. So many people recognise you. I love seeing that. The quilt lady at the start was so miserable and had no idea about the boundary or the laws. She needs a ray of sunshine to cheer up a bit. Boss was not that different at the start, but it was good to see him slowly come around. Reasonable people will come around and I'd say he is a reasonable person that simply have genuine concerns. Anyone that's been robbed will be wary. That's natural. People simply don't know what the appropriate response is in these situations. The girl running out was gold. Lovely lass. She was so happy. That changed the entire mood of the video. One happy person is a powerful force against misery and suspicion. Well done Imogen!
So another mixed bag and interesting audit. What a day this was. It's like a rollercoaster. Libre Chemicals was a disaster. This one was very tame in comparison. I watched the Intersports one yesterday. That one was outstanding. What a range of experiences Auditors get.

How unprofessional and it's no wonder so many places close down with goons like that in charge as they must surely treat their customers in the same way. The blonde lady eventually saved the day
He’s not an idiot David. He had a genuine concern & is responsible for the welfare of the staff & building. The guy doesn’t use social media, so understandably won’t have heard about these types of videos. Came across as a decent bloke to me but yes, Imogen probably did help save the day, I thought she was adorable.
Of course that's a matter of opinion Cassi. Whether he watches UA-cam or not he should have had more manners when approaching the public carrying out lawful business and could have shone a huge positive spotlight on his company, he made statements and then turned them into questions when counter questioned by DJ, he had no ID and just came over as totally unprofessional. Wouldn't announce who he was and told the auditor to clear off from public land. Anyway, you are right, she was adorable and should front the company on these occasions.
He's a decent fella plus he has concern for security, when a drone is showing stock outside, it's easy access to view online for any opportunist and with it being attempted in the last 2 weeks, even more so, people just don't see the bigger picture, instead just want drama so they can comment, there's always a soap drama on tv..

I love how you kept him engaged DJ, even though he was a bit rude to start with, you won him over with kindness and professionalism. I suspect that not only did he learn a lesson about the law but he also reflected on his inital approach. He was a decent bloke in the end but he was just acting bad out of a misplaced fear of what you were doing. Good result in the end!

Improve your security…… dont blame members of the public or innocent photographers….. and i am not liable for any losses/damage/natural disasters as an indirect and totally chance happeneing to me having passed outside your premise etc etc”

Exactly. I think a study should be done, specifically around the Auditing topic. There might have already been one, but if I was a psychologist, I'd be highly interested in this niche area of how human psychology is adapting to technology, cameras, drones and how the laws overlap.

The guy was alright in the end so he came across well. You have to put yourself in shoe shoes of others and I think most of us would be wary of someone filming if you've been broken into multiple times before.

Once he realised the interaction had been recorded he started to think about what he had said. Then came to the realisation that the footage is going on social media. The backtracking begins. Then slowly he becomes cooperative. By the end he almost apologises, starts repeating himself and even manages a little chuckle. A handshake to finish off and a final recognition from a fan. Brilliant.
I would be really fascinated by a deep psychological study, based around the subject of Auditing/public photography and laws. I really do find the reactions so fascinating and I can't help wondering how I would also react if I had no idea about Auditors. Sometimes it would also depend on a persons mood on any given day. No everyone is bubbly like Imogen. People have stresses at home, have had rough times in life etc. Not saying it's acceptable to be walking around with dark clouds over ones head, but most people are not even aware. It's like they are in a trance. Given different circumstances, they would change. They are stuck in a programme.

That's what I was thinking. Of course, there are break ins, but it's such a convenient excuse for them to use when under a bit of pressure. But...just like others have said, do they really think a thief will stand at the gate in the middle of the day and do some drone flying??? I understand people coming out to ask questions, but it's their methods, I question. Most of the time, they are so bloody miserable, faces contorted and storm clouds in their brains. People need to lighten up a lot.
I'm sure they do, but theres not much you can't see on Google Earth/maps etc. If a company has a fence, cameras and a guard in most places, that is about all that can be done. Thieves will try anything. I loathe thieves to high heaven, but I also love the public having clear rights to public property and airspace. There is no complete answer for everything. It's always a balancing act between rights and security. Private property is really the answer, security measures and a police response with laws to prosecute. Rehau is a underfloor heating system. It’s really impressive when you see it working.
The piping is similar to what we used to take hot water from a biomass boiler to buildings, its two internal pipes are fully insulated to keep the water hot, flow and return

Thumbs up to the guy who calmed down from demanding things of you. 👍 (I'm sure that the being recognised by people who were contracted to carry out a job at the site, and the young woman who's husband and father-in-law watched your videos had something to do with the way he calmed down. ♥♥♥)

This chap is one of those people who just wants to argue and is IMPOSSIBLE to satisfy. This guy does not want his concerned assuaged, he wants to argue and get his way and does not know how to respond when it doesn't go the way he anticipated it would. He tried to salvage his behavior with the old "security conscious" excuse, but doesn't seem to realize that someone here to steal his shit isn't going to stand at the gate doing his activities in plain sight and answering all questions politely and calmly. For ever reasonable answer he was given, he tries to find a problem with it and raise another issue. Why? Because he CAN NOT be man enough to say "ok, clearly you know what you're doing and what your legal obligations are, I'll leave you to it then"... No. We just go on and on and on in circles with this passive aggressive bullshit.
