- Wildcat's Revenge is the new-for-2023 hybrid coaster at Hersheypark. This Rocky Mountain Construction creation took the Wildcat wood coaster (GCI) and converted it into a smooth steel coaster. This ride packs in four excellent inversions and a handful of strong airtime moments!
I am so happy this is at my home park
Nice!
Lucky
Ur a lucky mf
Literally my number 1 it’s incredible
It's fantastic.
Great time!!excellent ride!! Go Hersheypark!! Right in my back yard!!
Nice!
This ride looks so cool.
It does.
@@CanobieCoaster I'll never forget riding Wildcat its first season. I thought it was pretty cool looking then, too, but not like now!
Wowwwww great footage
Thanks!
This was a wonderful addition to an already well-rounded lineup.
Absolutely
Excited for your review
Should be out soon.
This was my 100th coaster last month and it's amazing! It's aggressive, fast, and relentless. It's my #4 coaster, right behind steel vengeance and right above twisted timbers.
It's a great ride.
Steve is your #3? What are 1 and 2? Based on your name, I'm guessing Skyrush and... uh... Fury325? Edit: I changing my guess for #2 to El Toro
@@russ4moosehaven't been on fury or toro yet haha. My number 2 is voyage and my number 1 is skyrush
@@SkyrushFanboy You gotta get to Carowinds and Six Flags Great Adventure, and I gotta get back to Hershey.
I missed out on this coaster the one day I went to Hersheypark in late July and will have to try to ride it again next year
That's unfortunate. It is worth a return trip.
We need som off ride footage of this thing at NIGHT!!!
I was too busy riding it at night.
My number one right here
It's a great ride.
Yuuuussss! I finally get the high quality WiCR off-ride footage I desire!
Enjoy!
I personally rank this really highly since it’s not solely airtime focused; I like rides with a good variety of forces, that don’t just focus on one thing. And this ride absolutely excels in that
That's fair.
Great ride! 100x better than the original Wildcat. Storm Runner is still my favorite in the park, but this one is up there. Proud and very happy to have called this my first RMC and my 50th credit!!!
It's another excellent coaster for Hershey.
I took a lot of pictures of this amazing coaster when I went last month but, I didn't get a chance to ride it sadly.
Sorry to hear you couldn't ride it.
Some amazing Fototage! Also it shows that sometimes, you can create a nice looking park area without a lot of theming just by using a consistent color palette.
Thanks!
Not been on this looks decent 👌
It's better than decent.
I actually like the name of this ride a lot. The Wildcat basically got tired of people complaining that he was rough so he decided to shut them up.
The name grew on me.
Glad you finally got to ride, i was excited for this coaster since wildcat was set to close and it did not disappoint,
this or arie?

👍The fourth reason why Hershey should never waste money to get a dive coaster, this Skyrush, Fahrenheit, and Candymonium all have awesome, steep first drops and loads of action afterwards.
Plus dorney is getting one, so they should find some space and get a family multilaunch, something like big bear mountain and theme the heck out of it
Dorney getting a dive also makes it less appealing now.
Now we wait.....
P.S. If you don't get the joke, this video means that we're getting a wildcat's revenge review soon
Yes, should be out soon.
In a review video would you explain the history of the first GCI wooden coaster in Wildcat?
Yes
When I rode this in the front, during the prelift section a wasp almost flew in my mouth (it hit my lip) but thankfully I had it closed lol
That’s scary
Oh my!
1SssssssTttt!!!!!
Nice!
What would you rate Wildcat's Revenge? Why?
See my review.
For such a pretty much perfect coaster the shirts are so boring I wish they had animated coaster track with an animated train. I think just having the coaster logo is so not eye catching
I didn't look at the shirts too closely.
@@CanobieCoaster it just has the logo it’s a gray shirt
I felt the same way about the shirts for Wildcat's Revenge. If they went with something like the front of the trains, I would have got one.
Canobie Coaster would say: Of all GCI wooden coasters, which one failed to make the cut? None other than the original in Wildcat at Hersheypark. I liked this ride with the old PTC trains. It was...
A) smoother
B) rougher
but it had powerful pops of airtime.
The Millennium Flyers added in 2007 were an attempt to make the ride more comfortable, but it was still bumpy and the airtime was weakened. At best, the trains had cushioned padding and the ride was decent up front, but...
A) good elsewhere.
B) incredible elsewhere.
C) brutal elsewhere.
It was rougher with the PTCs and with the Millennium Flyers, the front was fine but the back was bumpy.
Was Wildcat's Revenge built from the ground up, or it used to be...?
It was converted from Wildcat.
