5:46 I can’t wait to get out there the excitement in your voice is transmitting into me somehow😂 I’ll hopefully get out there Monday after the holiday hype wears down like you said Great job on ALL the coverage you son like a proud poppa and you should
First I have to say thank you so much for your detailed and continuous construction updates! It's been very exciting to watch Wildcat's Revenge be constructed thanks to you! This video slapped as well and I'm so hyped to ride after hearing all the good things you had to say about it!
By the grace of the gods we got frount row. But this ride blew me away. I still cannot believe it actually really happened. Wildcat getting RMC treatment. Years the community of Hersheypark and the enthusiast community like myself have been asking and begging for years to RMC wildcat, and boy they delivered. Unlike the big park companies, looking at you Six Flags, Hershey listens and listens closey to its fan community and they enthusiasts community. Why they have the impressive line up of coasters. RMC did us proud, they did Hersheypark proud, Hersheyparks community proud and did Pennsylvania proud. 👏 it's our first RMC hybrid in PA and our region.
@@NickyD this is a total game changer. I mean Hersheypark already has a A class line up, but with Wildcat revenge, it really pushed Hersheypark way to the top. Hershey is already in the top 10 at number 6 or 7, but I think it may get bumped up to the top 5 in the country. All that's left is the golden ticket award. 🎉
Rode at 11:30 today and I got directed to the middle-back of the train, and it was the most relentlessly joyful experience I've had in a long time. It had me cackling through every element and it just doesn't get much better than that. Thanks for all the construction coverage and lead-up to opening!
I've been watching these for a few months now and regularly watching the construction updates, it gave me something to look forward to after school and during the week, and I want to thank you for posting these videos. I love these videos man thanks!
The long wait is finally over! Its been a pleasure watching the construction progress on your channel. Almost a bitter sweet end. Glad you got to ride it and enjoy this much anticipated coaster. 🍻😁
Got on today, right around Noon. I’d put in the top three RMCs I’ve done (out of eleven total, still think SV and Outlaw Run are a little better). Glad to have one at my home park, happy with the operations. Ran very smoothly for queueing and lockers, just hope they keep it up.
I rode towards the front of the train, it was absolutely fantastic!!! I was literally shaking when I got of because of how purely insane this coaster was! I was getting airtime in places I didn’t expect, and the inversions were some of the best I’ve ever experienced. I just cannot wait to ride this more!!
This was my first RMC and I’m so glad it’s at my home park. Rode around 3 today and the pacing is great, doesn’t slow down at all, and it’s as aggressive as it should be without being overly aggressive and intense. I think Hershey arguably has an argument for the best coaster lineup now. I’m still just in shock of how good this is and can’t really put it into words. If you can ride this, do it
Hershey is my homepark as well. My first RMC was Steel vengeance and since then, I was like, Hershey needs to RMC wildcat! This was a few years ago. When it was announced that Wildcat was getting the treatment I almost fainted. RMC will change your life! RMC is hands down the best American coaster manufacturer, best thing since Arrow! It's great to see an American based coaster manufacturer doing some really incredible work!
I managed to get full back row and it felt like I was being thrown like a rag doll and it felt like I was being ejected and put in my seat, the ejector airtime is mad on this thing
I'm looking forward to riding soon! I will say I was one of those people who didn't think Wildcat deserved the hate it got. I was sad to hear that Hersheypark was closing it down last summer and even more disappointed to hear that it was being RMC'd instead of overhauled by GCI to preserve it. I really do feel like parks are taking away too many wooden coasters. Granted, many RMC conversions were pretty bad rides but not all of them were. They were just shells of their former selves due to neglect by the parks they lived in. I just find traditional wooden coasters to give more of a thrill than many steel coasters. Wildcat was absolutely a shell of its former self and one of the reasons for that was due to the replacement of the original PTC trains with MF trains. This ride ripped through the layout in its original form, though it did run rougher. I didnt find it unbearably rough with the MF trains, but it certainly didnt have the pacing that it used to which affected the airtime it once had. It was sad to watch the popularity of Wildcat die over the years and hear people trash it. I always rode it numerous times when i visited Hersheypark. Having said all of that, I am very happy that they kept the name and am excited to see this area of the park liven up again! I really would love if Hershey brought in GCI to retrack Lightning Racer in the coming years and get it back to neck and neck racing again!
That's pretty normal steel vengeance does the same as acting. You can see the whole structure shift a couple inches every time to train goes through it. Wood needs to flex and move so it doesn't break unlike metal.
@The Coaster Spot I got to the line at 6 and was about 10-15 people back from the front of the line, so when they opened the queue at 615 we were on the front row after 4-5 trains we on and rolling by 630-640. We got to go on twice within 30 minutes because my wife was home sick.
Going to be in Hershey for the next 3 days and I will be riding this for the season pass-holder riders only tomorrow, looking forward to it and thanks for info👍
They do not and I don’t see how they could add in the future. Today they’ve have a group at times. When they did have a grouper they weren’t even bothering to pair a odd number groups.
So happy to hear that this supposed mid tier RMC slaps!!! Knew it was going to surprise people especially since the elements started to take more verticality than the horrible POV Hershey put out lol, I’ll be heading there June 12th can’t wait to ride!!!
One thing I've noticed is how the track shakes when the cart goes by, I know thats normal and im sure its safe but my anxiety is telling me "this coaster is gunna collaspe" But I mean its an attestiment to how fast it's hauling if it's shaking that many wood beams
Yes steel vengeance is the same way. You can literally see the whole structure shift a couple inches every time the train goes through, Which is good because wood needs to flex and move so it doesn't break unlike a metal
Hershey has some great roller coasters they don’t make you sit where they want you to most of the time and let you sit where you want but Mylar first days of attractions you have to get a ride time
better then IG? can phones go in zipper pockets? please tell me this has no shin guards yeah tyou know why it didnt have breakdowns because hershey didnt rush its opemning for april or mid may like SV was rushed TT was rushed for opening day
They’re heavily discouraging it but seems like they’re allowing it for now…No metal detectors. On most RMC I just put it in my stuff in the locker anyways so it’s not getting thrown around in my zippered pockets. for my second ride I brought it on with me to get a couple of shots but that it’s only reason I did since the lockers are free. There’s a bunch of stuff that I wanted to mention that I forgot out of excitement that I will definitely talk about in next that should be released on Saturday. And yes for me better than IG but that ride is mid tier for me. I know it’s blasphemy for most to hear that but that’s just the way I feel.
Nice FYI I had 11:30 and they were letting people in right away after rope drop. Although I would take your time getting there because the first few trains were not fully loaded and you want a full train for that first ride
All wooden coasters and all RMC coasters bend like that. The wooden support structure on roller coasters is designed to flex a certain amount, if it was too stiff the wood would break.
Check out the testing update for that. I’m hesitant to get anywhere close to the park boundaries when operating just in case the drone has a mind of its own and flies away.

OMG... The Track Flex is incredible.
Apparently it’s been causing some issues and a little bit of downtime but hopefully it will get this all sorted out
Is the track supposed to move like that at 7:15? That's insane!
It might be a little excessive but normal. In the future if it’s causing too many maintenance issues additional bracing could be added.

All wooden coasters and all RMC coasters bend like that. The wooden support structure on roller coasters is designed to flex a certain amount, if it was too stiff the wood would break.
Yeah it looked wonky but it is built to do that
That's normal, wood flexes. If it's too rigid there's not enough flex and it'll break. The steel reinforcement is really strong.
That always happens with wood coasters.
