My least favorite DS track is DS yoshi falls out of MKDS as a whole but I think they should remastered Mario Kart DS with some Downside with one item being nerf if they did that even on would be 💀😡 that they nerf the boo item in The game
Yeah they were some limitations in DS but also limited to space and even thing had to be toned down like the music and graphics and moving elements like ticktock clock look more like MKDD in MKDS from the graphics and music references like the trumpets and some music has more detail in the instruments.

Lol no the egg 1 is the best it is much faster and is still pretty easy to use
