Hey brother did you pin the flywheel at TDC before pulling the pump, I just did one last week too. John Deeres common rail pump injection pump tool works with the 6068 except the bolt size for the injection pump gear.
this pump was keyed, if it's keyed there is no reason to pin the engine, now if it was like a Perkins or kohler kdi, you bet you ass i'd pin it. this was the first pump i had to swing a hammer on like that normally just use a puller or tap it with a ball peen hammer will take it off, no questions asked.
How did you adjust the speed by setting the mechanical fuel pump
hey man, is that a mechanical fuel pump? wouls you share some info about the pump. i am struggleing to find one

@@chainsawsandgenerators9952 this comment taught me all about removing injection pumps, this comment is gold!!!! Saved me so much work
Thanks I have the same engine how do I know if the pump is bad thanks again
Engine won’t take load is one
You didn’t show how you took it or put it back on. Video is useless to me.
You left out too much of the information about if the engine is at TDC before installing
You need to be more specific with the installation.
Can you give me a shout. I have a jd 6068 generator that needs a new pump. I’m looking to purchase one.
