Same situation to the jeepney driver here in philippines.. he managed to put his jeep on the edge of the road before he passed away due to heart attack. He make it sure that all his passenger are safe. Salute to this kind of driver that always thinking of the safety of his passenger despite of tough situation. ❤️❤️❤️
Huge respect for the bus driver!!! They surely are the real heroes who deserve to be addressed as one!!!! This really shows how much he cares for the passengers he is ferrying everyday.
In Philippines this also happened because the driver had heart attack, luckily he manage to drive to the side of the rode and stop before he passed out. Unfortunately He Passed Away when he reach the hospital. All the passengers were greatful to him .
Yeah I saw that. That was the first time that happened in the Philippines. In china this situation is becoming more common among drivers. So far this month this is the 4th Chinese driver that did the same thing.
Drivers have it really difficult. We may think its really easy but their more to it than meet the eyes, its really stressful job being on the road which demands full attention, and long hours of sitting which eventually takes a toll on health. Please be kind to the service providers.
It's the same what happened here in Philippines. The driver pulls over making sure that his passenger safe before losing consciousness and eventually die because of heart attack. So much respect for this people.
last week ago too, There's also a Filipino Jeepney Driver that had a passenger , but suddenly he suffered from heart attack, meanwhile he tried to slow down and stop the vehicle and park to the side of the road, sadly, that was his last service.
Three days ago, in Tagaytay City, Philippines, a jeepney driver suddenly felt unwell and managed to safely pull over and stop his jeepney loaded with passengers. They helped bring the unconscious 55-year old driver to the hospital ER but he was pronounced DOA due to heart attack. Not one of the jeepney passengers was hurt.
I get some people may act like it's his responsibility to do this but in a life or death situation like this he didn't have to think of those passengers and he did, which is just amazing. So many people wouldn't even think of those around them during something discomforting and concerning as this happening yet here this guy is, saving 20 people's life before passing out due to an unknown illness.
The same thing happened recently here in the Philippines the driver managed to stop the vehicle to save his passengers before suffering an attack. Sad thing is that the driver died.

I've had fainting spells my whole life and I've had to teach myself to fall a certain way when I feel it coming. I can't imagine staying in control long enough to park a bus! I had one hit while I was driving a car and that almost ended badly. kudos dude. you're a real hero.
Great and responsible presence of mind shown by the driver. There are many instances of bravery with presence of mind shown by bus drivers in China. It's really great and inspiring.
The bus drivers actions are grate , yet there was also the woman , who looked as if she didn't know what to do , so she simply places her hand on his back and tries to sooth him . I would bet my last crumb of food , that he knew she was there and that helped him feel safe , she may have actually saved his life by calming him , allergic reaction coursing through blood , better to calm than to excite .
i think fainting is different for various ppl? because ive experienced fainting a lot due to allergic reactions too and i can control myself for a few secs/mins before fainting. my vision would be so dark and breathing is difficult, mind cloudy, but ive managed to ask for help (calling out to fam members, going outside the room when im alone, asking for menthol or water) before fainting most of the time. but given that i was still a teen the last time it happened and this guy is way older than me and driving at that, kudos for being responsible and holding out for so long!
That was very selfless and heroic. He used his last energy to pull the bus to safety and even open the doors before he collapse. It may have only been a few minutes but to him, I'm sure that moment felt like an hour of unbearable pain.
This was quite superhuman thing this man did. I mean when you faint, you just faint. It's out of control for anyone. But stopping the bus before fainting is what superhuman thing to do. Or maybe let's just call it sense of responsibility
He probably was not working the 996 but the 697 and was physically ill and probably felt more at home and in control in the bus. Hope he recovers quickly and does not have a big hospital bill. It was nice that he had someone to look after him after he looked after his passengers. Thank you for sharing this story from China.
