      ​@@bdboy2871Waugh was an exemplary skipper without doubt, but there're skeptics even in Australia who firmly believe Warne could've made a great skipper too.
      It was afterall Warne's captaincy of Rajasthan Royals in the first season of the IPL, that too when he was 39 years old and retired from international cricket, which led the least fancied side of the tournament to end up being champions.

Back then both these countries lacked great fast bowlers, so they made rules (& pitches) totally favoring batsmen. They made cricket a hitting contest. They completely ruined the fun contest between a great fast bowler & a great batsman on a bowler friendly wicket.

      No nobody is better than me . I am the greatest batsman of this world. I can easily hit long sixes to non experienced bowlers like Wasim, mccgrath, Brett Lee, steyn, akhtar, murlidharn, warne, malinga, etc.... But it is somewhere difficult to hit sixes to greatest bowlers like Malinga bandara, Nehra, Ashok dinda, Vinay Kumar, Salvi, Faulkner, jitan Patel, sulyaman ben, Monty panesar etc....

    The greatest thing about Lara is that he ran one man show for west indies , Sachin and other great batsmen were supported by their teammates like Dravid, Ganguly, Azhar etc, but Lara always performed lonely while at other end no support. You won't find any other batsman who performed for years without any support.

      Sachin didn’t get any support till 2001 and even after that there were plenty of days when he got out whole team collapsed … Sachin ran one man shows more times than any other batsman that has ever played the game … and also he was far more consistent than Lara in this regard

      Lara and Sachin are exceptional players, quality for both batsmen are the same, but mentally tough player is always 'Prince of Cricket'. Results against mighty England are 375 & 400, no one will break these.

    Just remember... when you compare two players , you compare the happinesses they have given you. And to say that the happiness a player has given is smaller from what other player gave , its a real real bad thing. Sachin was different and so was Lara. Sachin started his career at 16 and Lara did something as amazing as this too. Why cant we keep and cherish the memories they have both given to us.

      Our grounds are nice, but there are some iconic places around the world. Perhaps we all prefer watching away games because we don’t get to see them as often. Eden Garden, Lords, Newlands...some special places to watch cricket.

    His stance when hitting the ball and that initial little dodge he makes as soon as the ball is realeased gives him a lot of stability in playing shots even if he gets in to a stumble.Great stroke maker. AWESOME .

    I Request ICC Kindly Give Lara Alias Of "SIR" . Cause He was One Of the Top Batsman and Every Time Almost his Carrier When Came for the bating Wi Was Desaster Situation and he played roll Like One Man Army. He Was More then better Suchin. Kohli.     Lara had such a flair ! His cover drive off Symonds soon after that 3rd umpire catch call, followed by that thunderous sweep shot, were both absolutely phenomenal 👏
    And then that flamboyant onslaught over mid-on while dancing down the track was a treat to the eyes 👀
    And those couple of 6s off Warne were like icing on the cake 🎂
