For this first ring, you can do it the other way by jumping off of the fish, but the timing was always different for me, so I did it another way
by having the acceleration skill equipped.

You can get #2 easier from the lower path(after not hitting the fish) by backtracking onto the higher path spindashing+jumping to left at around the area below the platform at 0:41

The trick with the first red ring (if you’re collecting the red rings by level) won’t work because the acceleration skill is a modern sonic exclusive ability, you’ll need the Long Spindash from Rooftop Run.

For everybody who isn't skillful enough, I tell you that you can use the electrical shield. Some of this rings requires a lot of jumping. Hope this hint helps everybody. :)

Yep, that to. But some rings are on top and you need the electric shield. It makes easier precise jumping, though the aqua shield it's very useful too (for the floating and bounce stuff, mainly, like you said), but the electric one is easier to master.

On the last one I took the wrong wrote and tried to jump off, then I started flying everywhere until eventually a grabbed the red ring but glitched through the floor

For number 2 and 3, I just missed the upper path, but I used a Spin Dash/Jump combo to get to the upper path and then backtracked.

How do you multiple spin dash, I have acceleration but I don't even know if you equip to your skills or even how to use it.. :/

Spin dash jump trick isnt too hard. you just hold spin dash down, release and immediately spam the jump button.

I found a different way for 2# red ring. Take the bottom cannon and with a bubble shield or a electric shield, bounce at left side or double jump then spin dash up then you get the 2# red ring.

Hey people. if you want to get the first ring by using the spin dash i suggest you equip the skill time brake then spin dash and jump. i tried it. It was much easier for me to do it that way. thumbs up if it worked for you
