I never understood why but whenever I played that boss, I couldn't get near it or even dodge those homing shots. When I hold the boost button it doesn't seem to give me enough speed to get near the weak spot and it won't let me move around fast enough to evade those homing shots. Could it be a glitch of some kind?
I don't think so, I had similar issues. I think this boss was just rushed. The game as a whole feels pretty.....lacking, despite the content that's in it.

This is a breeze compared to modern dark Gaia, ps2 and wii dark Gaia was just a boxing match
