The Rockin’490 is probably my favourite all time frame, but I’d still recommend newbie skaters to spend most of their time on a flat 4x80 until they reach a decent intermediate level of proficiency.
You will probably have one side that is better than the other, so focus on this first. Try and think of it like tracing a question mark ❓ on the ground with your wheels.
Different wheeled setups are better at different things, so it's quite normal for skaters to use different setups depending on what type of skating they plan on doing that session :)

You tried 3 wheels mf900 but now use 4 wheels. Why?
I decided to start using this Rockin’490 frame, which is a 4x90 rockered setup. 3x110 is a nice setup to use if you haven’t tried it.

I had always wanted to try it and, to be honest, it’s perhaps my favourite setup!
