It is actually some kind of capacitor, not a battery. Not exactly sure what it does but with the million electronic things in that car, I’m sure it’s used for something. Either way you’ll get a message on your dash saying to change it, until then you don’t have to worry about it.
Hi, Can you explain how to remove the carpet. It seems to be tucked under the plastic trim (on my 2017 GLC300) and I can't figure out how to remove it?
