There are cupholders in the rear center, the thing with the phone slots is a two stage slider. You half press it and then it slides out the rest of the way.
And the worst is the haptic touch volume buttons. Accidentally touching them on the steering wheel changes volume. No fine controls are possible. Bring back the manual volume knob please.
Cupholders in the rear center. Got my brand new GLC 300 yesterday...in the Nautical Blue color, too. Love it! Had an AMG C43 first, then a 2021 GLC 300 and loved that one, too so I just leased the 2024 GLC. Happy customer!
@@CojRacer Very reliable! Love it! The maintenance package was included in my lease price...you have to ask the individual car dealership what that pricing is.
I have a previous model GLC and I believe that the "hard plastic piece" between the head-rest and the top of the seat contains the mechanism that raises/lowers and moves forward/back the head rest. The top button on the door seat configuration operates the head rest.
New cars are annoying that the center console between the front seats are so huge and obtrusive. Wish car manufacturers would start slimming those down!!
I ordered a new GLC but then declined buying it. The giant plastic center console was really off putting to me. It made my drivers space feel claustrophobic and tiny. Crappy lighting in the cargo area also wasn’t acceptable. I regularly load band gear late at night and doing it in the dark just won’t work. So, my 2020 GLC is fine still and new competitors are on the way. A new RDX, X3, etc. are almost here.
Completely agree with the 12 Inch display the angle is like clutching defeat from the jaws of victory, because it ends up looking like a mistake or it's been fitted wrong,, that is enough to put me off so I'm looking at the new GLA instead
Question? What’s the cost to benefit ratio - compared to purchasing a three to five year old lease return? Factor in newer gizmos to fail, engineering that adds time and cost for maintenance and repairs…etc.
CPO can be like new with low mileage and 35% cheaper price. Most still have factory warranty plus an extra year. And you can add an extended warranty too.
I really wanted to love mine however since purchased there is a problem with the parking brake at pax side rear wheel not disengaging and makes a loud thump/bang and feels like I am hitting something when I put it in gear.
Just bought a diamond condition 2021 GLC 300 - a CPO with 26K miles - it is NOT a luxury car - when i approach the car it looks more like a Rogue Sport with a Mercedes Insignia on it then a luxury vehicle - but i saw the 2025 and they have improved on the exterior and interior - still love my BMW X5 way better then the comparable Mercedes
I test drove and was about to buy a 2024 Mercedes GLC300 but my wife hates the exterior look (I do too but I can live with it). Then she suggested looking at Cadillac. Wow we love the distinctive look and 33 in screen of the 2024 Cadillac XT4 that we bought one. My video: ua-cam.com/video/ehsMYDQQHHU/v-deo.html
I drove one and hated how it couldn’t figure out wether to jump or buck at low rpm’s. Terrible experience. It is a beautiful car and the seats are absolutely the best. Sorry, not for me.
In New Zealand it doesn't even have ventilated seats or rear USB ports. Something my 10 year old Jeep has. The importers should lose their jobs.. they certainly lost my sale.
I have a GLC. The reason the head rest seems so far behind the driver's head is because this reviewer evidently did not know all the available adjustments at the time of recording this review. The seat adjustments are on the door. The top button of the seat adjustment moves the head-rest up/down and forward/back. That plastic piece between the head rest and the top of the seat that the reviewer doesn't like contains the mechanisms for the head-rest.
It’s the locking lug nut key that has become unseated. Just need to put it back in its place and it will stay there. When they changed the rims/tires to the 19s with winter tires they didn’t seat it properly.

Yep, I was going to leave the same comment.

Hi, can i please ask you if the car has been reliable and the how much it has cost you to maintain the car?

Love that car ❤
Love the carbon center console vs. piano black!
It does have cup holders in the back center arm rest, but you're not the only reviewer to miss that so they need to make that more obvious.

If you can't afford new mb sure af you can't afford used one

Good reviews.
I love the Cooper version
The 2023 had the same headlight connection to the grille as he is showing on this 2024. The picture he displayed was a 2022 GLC.
What about the suspension setup?

I am still surprised you have not done a redesign of the new Prelude....we already know it is coming to production and wont be that much different.
The center console is killing me

I agree with you about the screen, dcancelled my order and bought Tesla y, and love it.

That 0-60 was so slow. My X50e would absolutely smoke this and is much more comfortable and roomy lol
why would you take this car to a dusty parking lot to do this review LOL it looks terribly dirty
What is the rattle?? I hate rattles.

Too swoopy especially at the back. The previous generation was better looking
the most boring Benz
You should check out the gla if you think that's boring
Mercedes has not been making good reliable cars for the past 30 years.
Unfortunately
@@yzoooon Yes, unfortunately.
I woud be just grateful to be able to own the car dude without all your little niggles
Haven't seen this channel in a while. Does he only do design reviews now? No more sketching his version? 🤨
