  • Lib Tech has an amazing lineup of boards for 23/24. When it comes to the Orca, what kind of rider is that specific board for exactly?

    I love my Orca, it is my go to on powder days. It still rocks even when the mountain gets chewed up on those big powder days. If there is not a bunch of new snow I prefer my Jones Flagship. Both amazing boards.

    The Orca is my favorite out of my 7 boards. This board can literally do anything.

      It really is a more versatile board than people think.

    Hey guys,
    what Orca Size would I want with 189cm, 100kgs and size 11 boots?
    And would you even propose an Orca at all for someone transitioning from beginner/intermediate to more advaned rider?
    Thanks!

      You will want the 162 and yes the Orca is great for Intermediate to Advanced riders. 👍

    I’m 5”10 200lbs would you recommend sticking with a 156 ?

    • @PeterGlennSports
      @PeterGlennSports  6 місяців тому

      If you are primarily freeriding the 156 would be great, if you want a more versatile all mountain feel you could drop down to the 153 no problem.

    Many thanks for sharing, much appreciated! How does this compare to my 2022 Deep Thinker which I ride at 157 (being 180cm/ 80kg)?

    • @PeterGlennSports
      @PeterGlennSports  8 місяців тому

      Similar riding style, all mountain board hidden in a freeride shape but the Orca has a volume shift so you would ride a 153.

      @@user-ld9xu9mk7z Doesn't look like you have a volume shift deck yet so for sure would be a good whip to add to your quiver! They are incredibly versatile boards and super fun to ride. Especially in the trees, extra nimble and easy to throw around in tight spaces.

    • @PeterGlennSports
      @PeterGlennSports  8 місяців тому

      Like Matt said in the video, it's a surprisingly versatile board that performs awesome in deep snow. But it can be a one board quiver for sure.

    Hi, I had an Burton Baracuda 165, for 10 years now. I tried the new Lib tech T-Rice pro 159, but was not happy with the floating in pow. I am 6.1 and apx 220Ibs. Because of this I am thinking of getting a Lib tech Orca 159. What do you quess, will I be happy with that? And is 159 a good size for me?

    • @PeterGlennSports
      @PeterGlennSports  8 місяців тому

      With the volume shift the 159 will definitely fit you better in the Orca. That T.Rice is for sure a little small.
