I've always wanted to be a Golden Apex Dorca
Like always a great honest review
I've had the original golden orca for a few seasons. I am intrigued by the stiffer flex of the apex. I am a heavier rider and i do notice my golden orca struggles in really really deep conditions compared to a OG orca. (Yes i am a "D-orca 😂). I just don't think 1300 bones is worth it. So for deep deep days i just use a more 100% powder specific board. I use my golden orca for average powder days and slashing trees /groomers. Great review!!!
Pretty accurate review, I had a day on one and seemed way too much effort to use for an intermediate rider, felt like the board was riding me, the Regular Orca was easier to use but then I had a go on a mates Salomon Dancehaul which was much easier (especially initiating turns) to ride and more fun for my skill level. This was in a combination of back country and groomers.

Alpha Apex Platinum Golden Orca
Hi, great review, thanks ! I had the chance to ride de Golden Orca and the Capita Mega Death (excellent review as well) ; does this board somehow turns the Orca into a Golden Mega Death ? ;-) I hesitate between the two (although I loved the lightweight reactivity of the Mega Death)… Should I consider the Apex ?

Can I put a clew binding on top and go ride with snowboard pro camp?
You can do anything you want, do we advise that? No.
TC was so convincing that I bought the pyl uninc. What do you think of the Now Drive Pros for that deck?

hi , do you think this board is good for Carving well? and pass the day in the resorts with all kind of snow conditions... soft snow, ice, groomers ect..?

I feel like the marketing is soo good for the board people buy it for the T.Rice name. But I have never seen a person who can actually ride on an orca even though I think they’re good boards it’s just so damn expensive it’s not worth
Literally every single person on any type of orca ive seen in my life was a jerry
I’ll hold out hope but I’ve still never see anyone in person riding an apex orca that actually knows how to ride a snowboard

@@AngrySnowboarder LOL, you got me… Yeah, I saw that from 2019, but I was thinking Libtech could have changed something since then because it seems to me that in general when a manufacturer adds a golden apex heavy duty ultra mega X version of a board the base model changes to distance itself from the new mega ultra heavy duty golden apex super version, so I was wondering if this was the case with the orca too. Do you know if they did anything like that?
