Recently hit up a dollar bin, my local toy store was getting rid of everything found; Captain Atom 1, Geoff Johns JSA 1, Adventure Comics with Specter, Vigilante 1, Steel 1, Justice League 1 (1987) and some other books I was super excited about
There are times you'll get cool stuff like that because either no one knew they were in there, or they just simply wanted to move stuff with no extra effort.
"Three Little Pigs" is not a comic you see often, even rarer in such nice condition. I've always loved Jim Starlin's cover for Iron Man 100. The Champions was a fun title but the team really had no purpose: there were other better, harder-hitting teams around like the Avengers and the Defenders had the non-team corner of the market wrapped up; still, the series did give us Swarm, the beehive shaped like a man (!). What do you mean maybe a Part 2 James? Of course we need a Part 2, and make it twice the length at least.
You win! You are the $1 BIN KING! I like hitting the 1/2 dollar and dollar bins to find $3 to $10 issues for decent profit and reading material but I'm no competition to your past and present finds. Luckily I was given a 10 short box collection of fairly desirable Indys from a buddy I went to college with to supplement my eBay sales.

Nice! I found Werewolf by Night 32 for 50p here in the UK about 10 years ago. I also found Wolverine 102.5 for 50p. In both instances I mentioned to the dealers selling them that they were way underpriced, but in both cases they told me that I found them, so I was entitled to them. With Wolverine 102.5 the dealer pointed out the artwork was rubbish, but the front cover by Boris Vallejo was amazing.
Great finds. Don’t get your prices tho….if you move that 134 for $180 that’s amazing. That book ins VF/Nm range is selling for 100-$120 tops right now. Two years ago no problem….but hey like I said if you can sell at those prices well done
It’s about a 9.4. So if I sell it for $180 and someone gets it slabbed and gets the 9.4 they have the ability to make $170 profit (maybe more like $140 profit after grading costs) 9.4s sell for $350 currently. I ALWAYS price so that there’s meat on the bone. Glad I could break it down for ya!
Still proud of the Detective Comics #583 I got for $2. I bought it seven or eight years ago and the CGC graded it at 8.5. I also just realized last week that it's newsstand!

Bro, I'm not gonna lie and I'm not going to hate, but when I see these kinds of videos from you, I usually stop them 5 minutes in due to rage. 😂 30+ years of collecting comics and never come across opps like this.
I'm at a crossroad on this. Granted a high percentage of us would do the same myself includef but my conscience would be killing me. Unless the seller knew and willingly was selling them at that price. I would pay it foward on what you're going to auction off. I'm not saying to sell at a buck . After all it is business but you have a golden opportunity to reward your buyers/ fans with some awesome deals. Food for thought.
I give thousandsssss of $$$ of comics for free away every year at Christmas and Halloween, have charities, do giveaways constantly, have the lowest priced comics in the entire game, believe me I pay it forward more than most!
@@MintHunterComics That's awesome. I kinda new here to the channel and was not aware. Well if that's the case it couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Thanks for the great content.
I found a X-Men #14 and Journey into Mystery Annual #1 each for a dollar. (They were pretty beat up, but not worth being sold for a dollar.) I bought like 12 other dollar books too, so it didn't look like I knew what the books were. But the other books were really nice too. Old 60s Daredevil and some old Marvel horror books. All in all I think I was really lucky or the comic book shop didn't know anything about comics.
Getting sick of your negative non-factual comments man... why don't you go attack the 99 percent of comic sellers that ACTUALLY overcharge. Not sure why you're coming at me, when I buy higher than anyone else, sell for lower than most, and offer up to 33 percent off on my claim sales.... Do you have any how many times I break even or even loe money??? Literally just over here reading the last 3 months of comments that I've missed from you and it's really sad. This is literally my job and I give 200 percent to be an outstanding member of the community and never screw anyone over and judging by your comments you just want to see me fail. I don not understand it.
Not exactly dollar bin diving when the whole warehouse is the bin...more like someone who didn't want to do the leg work and just unload it. Still amazing stuff

You have to love lazy dealers. I leaned a long time ago it is worth going over any type of collection before selling it. Pop culture has changed comic collecting as well as searching for key issues instead of just first issues. Some large comic dealer may have brought his whole ware house of comics if he presented valuable ones with them. Instead he will have it picked over into a giant bulk lot of comics no one wil pay for after the good ones are gone.
