I LOVE this helmet! Just picked it up a few days ago and I gotta say, its' the most comfortable helmet I have EVER owned. The padding feels as if I 've put my head into a Bentley! The fit feels fantastic, super soft yet very safe. Ventilation had been very good so far, but admittedly not ridden but about 50 miles with it yet. Drop down visor is way better than most, and comes down to a proper level below the line of sight! The Sena com system is nice as well. Not quite the same sound quality as the Cardo w/JBL speakers, but definitely nicer that the standard/normal com systems. Literally just a plug and play set up right out of the box. A great overall value, to have both a sexy helmet with easy, nice sound, ready to go! Thanks for the review.

Recently got the sedici strata 2 and i cannot complain about anything at all. Little to no air whistling, ventilation is satisfactory, lightweight, drop dwn visor is great! Overall i give it a 4.7 star rating

Just picked this up today. Firmware update was easy, paired right up to phone. Made a few calls on it and was clear. Music is a bit tinny, but was expected. I have not really gone for a ride with it yet, but will let you know about the noise.

Its a bit noisy....it flows really nice though. The music playing does help with that woosh sound, but its still present. No other issues.

@@Lumpia_In_Texas I only briefly tried it on and it was a bit on the cheaper side, helmet itself just felt a little less something. Both are ok, just the sedici is a bit better. Its very comfortable and fits to size. I found the techno to be on the smaller size in terms of fit. I had an XL techno and went with a large Strada 2.

    Long term owner comments:
I have zero gripes with the helmet itself. Wind noise can be a bit much but is expected at the price.
My gripes all revolve around the DWO-6 Sena unit:
I have a beard so the massive boom mic is forever rubbing on facial hair annoying the heck out of anyone I talk to via com or phone.
The speakers are not upgradeable as with most other Sena units. The cutouts in the helmet are a perfect fit for the tiny speakers so the HD speaker upgrade cannot fit. Further complicating the mess is the left speaker and boom mic are fully integrated.
Once I had enough of the DWO-6 and its shortcomings, I decided it was worth trying to replace the whole unit. Some careful shopping and soldering in of the right size headphone speakers that fit the cutouts and have the same impedance would solve the speaker problem. A new unit would allow me to use a normal mic and leave it just barely tucked behind the cheek pad as it should be. The new unit would then have the power and app support to take full advantage of the improvised speaker upgrade.
Perfect, right? No. The helmet and DWO-6 were not designed to accommodate placement or repair. I'm taking my time and being exceedingly careful but as of right now, I have not figured out how to remove the DWO-6 from the helmet without damaging the helmet.
My advice is to skip the Parlare and get the regular Strada II. It's a great lid. Then buy the com unit that meets your needs separately. You'll be a lot happier.

hm. was hoping on more features than simply mentioning it has a comm system. that's great and all, but how does it perform at highway speeds? How are the vents? I have a $70 Seven Zero Seven that feels like I am wearing a bowling ball at highway speeds. and an Arai Quantum that has the vents integrated in the faceshield. That one is pretty aerodynamic at highway speeds, but was made in 2005 and the wear is showing. I do like the profile of this Strada II.

If you are looking for more first hand accounts on the tech and helmet, feel free to check our site as the Strada II Helmet has tones of reviews from owners, as does the Sena 10R / 10S which is what the Parlare's comm system is internally.

      @RevZilla  Місяць тому

As long as the charging cable / port your using has power, and plugged into the Helmet's BT USB port, it will charge. If you are having issues with that, there might be something wrong with the unit and our CS team can help with getting it fixed / replaced. Feel free to reach out to them directly. www.revzilla.com/customer-service

After using Aria exclusively for entire life time, I wanted to test out bluetooth sound and didn't want to get a cardo so I tried this out, bought it yesterday from Cycle Gear. This morning, I rode on the highway for 16 minutes and all I have to say is this was a big let down. I don't think they tested this at all in wind-tunnel. If you got above 60, you get this ripping sssssss sound, not wind but its actual sound, only disappears if you turn your head to the side. I am guessing due to the vents, will know more this afternoon after ride back. Also, the wind noise - Its suppose to be bluetooth but even at max volume, at 70mph, its useless. I wanted to turn back around and get my Arai. Stay away from this if you do any highway miles. For local scooter riding speeds, its fine. People love this helmet, I am not sure they are doing any highway riding tests. Its one of the most sold in Revzilla and number 1 at cycle gear, how?

The Sedici Strada 2 is a sub $300 helmet (when you add the BT it gets more expensive, but its base is sub $300) so its not really something you can compare to Arai being one of the most premium brands in the industry and at costs north of $600 / $700 easily. But, having said that - any helmet that you wear (especially on the highway) the only thing that will solve the wind noise is ear plugs. Only one brand in the world claims quietness levels on highways and that's Schuberth, and even they have a huge * attached to it that it was on their bike, at their speed, with their rider etc. Because wind noise on the highway isn't something brands can factor in. Your bike's aero, your riding position, your head's angle in riding position, your arm length, your height, windshield or not, etc etc etc all factor into wind noise on the highway and brands can't factor that in for everyone. Idk, all that having been said, this is the most popular helmet in the US because of the features and the price coming together where people like it. But, regardless, wear ear plugs if you care about wind noise and EVERY helmet will be exponentially better.

@@patrickmchugh8039 Yea, I ordered another Aria - Arai Shogun, will see if Shoei RF-1400 goes on sale or something over the winter and grab one of those and attach a cardo system instead. My whole thing was it seems no one posted a video of the wind vents making noise, not a single reviewer. I found that to be a little misdirection, or deceptive practice considering its popularity. I just want to be clear, the vents themselves are creating screeching ear piercing noise like a flute does. that is not wind noise, that is creating noise. That was basically the whole point. Other than that, I really considered keeping it for local ride...

You need to enter "Universal Pairing" mode on one of the units if trying to pair one brand to another. If you are pairing this with another Sena device, you would treat it as a normal comm-pairing mode.

Did it recover once it dried out? These are just glorified built-in Sena devices and with Sena's, they will power off in the rain to avoid issues. Then when they dry out they power up just fine.

I owned the first Strada and absolutely loved it. I purchased the Strada II in the same size (xs) and it was far too small. The small fit better, however, this helmet is significantly more noisy than the Strada I. I do like that the visor clips are no longer an issue with this helmet, as they are not on the outside of the visor anymore. I also like the new placement of the internal sun visor lever near the bottom of the helmet. Overall I am very disappointed given the noise level of this helmet compared to its predecessor.
