She can try but it sounds like fair use from what she explained, sadly. The way they used her content was transformative and that's usually all they need to get away with it. If she can't get it down I hope she gives us all the name of the business so we can stay clear of them.

I've been wearing makeup pretty much every day for more than 20 years now (yikes), but it wasn't until I happened upon one of your videos a couple of months ago that I realized I'd been residing in one tiny corner of the vast and often intimidating "makeup world" ... well, I've learned more from you in these weeks than I had in 2-plus decades, about technique, brands and products, skincare, etc. I've since checked out other UA-cam "gurus", too, and I have to tell you how much I appreciate the time, effort, and expertise you especially invest in every one of your videos. Plus, you're as kind and engaging as you are lovely, so it has been a real treat spending time with you. (I've turned my mom and friends on to your channel, too, and we're all feeling more confident about - and having way more fun with - the way we look these days. They're all sticks, and you're supposed to be able to get ready in like 5 mins using them 😊 It's called a Ty-Over 😀 Anyhow, I'd love to know if it's Hot or Not. Hahaha thank you!! I tried those lipsticks, and the nude-ish color is the only one that worked for me...they're definitely a little funky but they're beautiful to look at, that's for sure!

Tati. I've heard that people like the Milani amore mettalic lip creams. If you're looking for an inexpensive metallic lipstick.
David Jackson she did a review of their mattalics lip creme entire line. I was so bummed that no drugstore in my city that carried Milani stocked this product. I repeatedly went and called several drug stores. Maybe I should buy them from their website but I really wanted to see the swatches in person.

Just an fyi, the Chosungah jelly shadows are tailored to Korean tastes. Typically, Korean women favor muted, sheer shades for their served looks because its less about bold, sexy vibes and more cute, subtle ones. They do well for that, I like the way they feel. Since they are less pigmented on purpose, I do not think a Western audience would like them because opacity on shadows is a crazy deal here. And the Sephora markup!! Always crazy on imports :(

loosest swooce I think it would help sell products if the companys and store display that they are based on makeup tends in other countries. The average person will be like tari. They are not going to do the research on if its a Western style makeup or not. If the company/store does not advertise then they will just assume its western.

I only trust Tati for makeup reviews before I go out and buy something because she's very honest and critical and she's always been dead on. I always love her recommendations unlike some other youtubers who have recommended things and I ended up hating them!

I've watched your videos for a long time but we've always had kind of different styles and recently you've been trying more edgy and dark styles like this mesh top and some other clothing items and makeup looks and I've been LOVING IT. I love you doing you no matter what that is but these darker almost goth pieces really speak to me on a whole other level than your usual stuff.

Morgan MacDonald People weren't being "bratty" they were just being honest. Usually she's amazing at Makeup, but in that video she purposefully did the worst makeup I have ever seen. The purpose of the challenge was to try to make bad things work, but she made them look a million times worse by not even trying. She purposefully made them look bad and that wasn't the point of the challenge.
These cooler toned and thicker brows flatter you so much!!! You already look so much younger than you are but these brows still take off a couple years....AMAZING

hey tati! the ABH Foundation Stick is specifically formulated for oily skin. therefore, it is not the right product for your skin type! please research these kinds of things before saying that they are bad. it is simply not meant for your skin type. so please, anyone with super oily skin, you should defiantly try the foundation stick out. remember to take these kinds of reviews with a grain of salt. a lot of youtubers will give these kinds of products a bad review because they do not tailor to their needs
same with the jelly shadows. those shadows are geared towards those with Korean beauty tastes. the colours are much more muted because many Koreans prefer that kind look (not so intense like us westerners like)
Jilin's Tiny Hands sorry but that's not true about the ABH. It's marketed as a "Demi-matte" for both oily and combo skin types. Tati is combo. Therefore it should work for her. It was an error on ABH if they didn't describe their product correctly.

I have a few Aritaum shadows and they are very pigmented, so there are different levels of pigmentation in Korean make up as well.
yeah, but the fact of the matter is that Koreans makeup taste is more on the subtler side. that is what the palette is trying to reflect.
Apart from personal and or cultural faves on subtle or more dramatic make up there is the question whether a formula is good or not. I usually love Estee Lauder foundations, yet some of them are horrible. in spite of the millions of dollars spent on research, sometimes a product will end up just pure crap..
it frustrates me she doesn't return the expensive items. frugal me 😥

I think a lot of youtubers like to save these products so they are able to compare them to other things in the future. Tati puts so much thought and research into her videos, it's probably helpful to save some items for reference

Hi Tati! I think you're fabulous and amazing and have come to trust your honest reviews. I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate them and how refreshing it is to see a UA-camr near my age with similar skin issues. Can you do a video on your top masks? I recently finished 4 years of residency and after 3 decades of nerding it out, I've taken an interest( much to my moms relief) in skin care and makeup. Masking at the end of the day is one of my new fave hobbies but get overwhelmed with the selection and don't want to waste money.

I left a comment on that disgusting company's facebook page under their video, within seconds my comment was removed and I was blocked by them. They really are despicable, actions like this are so misleading for the consumer, and so many people are bound to be disappointed and lose their money at the hands of these crooks. It seems to me like they aren't even legitimate in selling rip offs of the silisponge at all.

silo beauty, I checked on their Facebook page and couldn't find the video as well.
Sorry, I'm only seeing these responses now. I was a little scared to name the company as I don't want to give them publicity, but I suppose the only publicity they can get from this is bad. The company is called "SiloBeauty" and they are marketing the "silosponge", which they claim is a trademark name and idea on their Facebook page, along with other very badly worded and outlandish things. They also have links to several articles about their product from "news sites" which appear to be raving about the silosponge, although they don't look very legit. They also have posts about shipping issues with Christmas orders, which they claim (in extremely poor written English) are due to a problem with the delivery services and not them, and that they processed all of their orders on time. They also quote a customer service email - who knows if that's even real. Over all this looks like an extremely shady "company", and it's so disheartening to see that people have actually handed over their hard earned money to them for a product that is not only a rip-off, but possibly not even real, and they may never receive their orders.

about the chosungah palette- the thing about korean eye makeup is that the korean style is more of a light application for a more "natural" eye look, so in general any korean eye makeup that you find is not going to be highly pigmented like American brands. because that's just not what they like (in general)

I love these videos. They are just as helpful as the hot product videos. Plus, like you say, if you do like the product, keep using it. You're just sharing how you felt about the products. Like for example, I'm combo skin and I love the Tatcha Dewy Skin Mist, not as a setting spray or with makeup but as a refreshing, moisturizing spray as a treat for my skin before bed at night.

Kristan L remember that casey has oily skin & she adores everything matte, while tati has pretty dry/combination skin. The foundation is around $13 if you wanna try it.
Casey has extremely oily skin where as tati is a little more on the dry side. that might be the difference.

Fla Ponte no that's not true. It is a bankrupt defunct line now, but it is the Kardashians'. They used to call their cosmetic line Khroma Beauty but got sued by a company called "Khroma' for using that name so they were forced to rebrand and call their products Kardashian Beauty. It's a horrible horrible line with subpar products and substandard everything. Worse than Dollar Tree makeup

Call one of the top modeling agencies in LA an ask them about how they handle someone using the likeness of one of their models without permission??? I know in Paris I could make a bundle, in NYC I could make millions upon millions, should be the same in LA, but what about the rights to your image and UA-cam???

Isn't it amazing how few drugstore products are making it to the worst of lists?.its a testament to how much better drugstore has gotten in the past decade trying to keep up with high end! but I definitely expect more from high end cause of how much it is,there really is no justification for some of the crappy products these high end brands put out and then have the audacity to charge so much as if we are stupid and aren't going to notice!

You go in depth saying why the product didn't work, and if you think it's not a complete dud, you say who you do think the product might work for. I love that you work so hard and give us FREE advice every day. I'm SO upset that that company stole your work and lied! Everyone's skin is different. What works for Tati might not work for you and vice versa. I value Tati's opinion as well but there are products that work for me but not for her. That being said, this list was spot on- a lot of the products on this list were a major fail for me.
Suggestion: Maybe when you talk about a product that was bad that you did a review on, you could add a little clip in of when you tried it so we can really appreciate how bad it was. Just a thought :P

I really love these kind of videos. For me personally they're awesome because I don't have much money and buying makeup it's a luxury for me being the breadwinner of my family of four, so knowing what works and what doesn't (having your kind of skin) it's great. So thank you.
