Hayley Lynn I don't know much about it. But NYX is coming out with drops that can change color in your foundation. Maybe pick up some yellow toned drops and add some if you like the Infallible formula!

I'm a cosmetician in Canada and yesterday I had a phone call of a woman asking me about this foundation. She told me she watched this video half expecting me to not know who Tati was.. I freaked! I know the beauty blender is your favorite beauty sponge, but I find that the real techniques sponge is the best tool to apply this formula dye to the flat side. Since this foundation is creamier, the smooth side allows you to spread the foundation out and then pounce to get that flawless airbrush effect. That's what works best for me. ☺️

+Taylor Williams I'm with you.....except for this formula, the real techniques flat sided sponge performs better with the consistency of this foundation bc it spreads it out.
I love this foundation so much! It has quickly become my favorite drugstore foundation. It works great on my oily skin, even without a powder, and once you get used to it, you get better at blending it before it sets. Also, please do a review on the new Ecotools sponges! I've found that this foundation and the big sponge from the two pack work really well together!

Lee Bee It's nobody's fault, but it sucks that more time than not, every time a new foundation from the drugstore comes out I can't wear it because it's aimed towards the more common skin types; oily to normal. But I've got my Pro Glow and my FIT ME so I'm good :)

Rimmel Match Perfection and Revlon Colorsstay Whipped are my favorites. Amazing coverage and they both work on my super dry skin

I think her cheek bones seem more prominent without the false lashes and she has said she loves her sister's sharp cheek bones.
I just want to say that this is such a perfect example of something that you liked but may have not been perfect for your needs, but is perfect for someone else!
I watched this and when you said it was a little too matte for your taste I ran out and grabbed it! My skin is oily, and breaks down every single foundation I've ever used. I use primer, and I set with powder and setting spray and nothing seems to work. This foundation is the closest I have ever come to finding a foundation that will make it thru a workday without resulting in pools of foundation and oil on my forehead and cheeks.

I really feel the same way... I loved this the first time I wore this and the second time it was patchy. You really have to make sure your skin is in great shape. Gonna try it with oil today. It wore on me all day though! Possible wedding foundation!!👰
Katie Nydam what type of skin do you have? I have overall oily skin and this seems like it might be a good one for me.
Katie Pie Have you tried using the POREfessional as base, I use that around my oily areas and it works great for me
Katie Pie I actually have pretty dry skin... but as long as I prep it well, it looks great! I think it would be great for oily skin too though. I think the key is to have your skin nice and smooth!

I would really love to see a part 2 of this video where you do an updated method of applying this foundation as well as test out the yellow sponge!

in her all things beauty blender video (I believe) she says that she's tried several different beauty blenders including the real techniques and nothing she tried comes close to a dupe to the real beauty blender!

+Pareen Pattni Yeah, L'Oréal and Nyx are so overpriced here, and L'Oréal doesn't even launch all the shades here. Maybelline instant age rewind line has been out for years but we don't get it here, same for the full infallible line, L'Oréal lumi line, the maybelline master line, and even when maybelline launches something it's the same pinks, reds and oranges, nothing else.
Shayri Garg this is so true. So so many great products sold there from loreal, maybelline that we are missing out on. The lipsticks are so stereotypical and overpriced. It's very sad
I like this foundation. I agree about using some oils or a luminous primer first. they didn't have many shades when I got them so I need to find a darker one then i'd like it more. it has good coverage.
My beauty blender still bleeds hot pink & I've used it dozens of times. My RT sponges never bleed, not even the 1st time & I have all their sponge shapes.

i loveeeeee this foundation. i havent heard people rave about it like they did about pro matte and pro glow.
i love pro matte. but it wasn't covering acne well enough. but this one does and it still has that finish that the pro matte does. so i love that. i know it doesnt say matte but i am glad that it is!
and it works fine with blending for me. but i am a super fast blender. i never let any makeup product sit on my face without immediately blending it like a lot of people do. so ive had no problems. its amazing for me.
every beautyblender i've bought (yes, from sephora. they're not knock-offs) has had the dye run when i've put it under water for the first time. like quite a bit.

Go on amazon, Aesthetica beauty sponge, it's black and it is a literal dupe for the beauty blender. No dye or anything either. 10$, LOVE IT

I really like the foundation I just mix it with a more liquidy one or a little bit of primer and I work in small sections, it looks amazing on the skin! And I freaking love that it controls my oil
Really like your makeup. Complexion looks great. Very pretty lip color. I also agree with James, you look beautiful and somehow younger without the false lashes.

She most likely copies and pastes her descriptions. A lot of youtubers do it. Those foundations are probably just her every day makeup and she forgot to change it

I think the blending thing isn't much of an issue for people who do foundation first and eye/brow/ect makeup last--but it is really good to know that ahead of time! I am super interested in this foundation because I have hella oily skin so thank you for the review!

I mixed the Full Cover with the pro matte and that worked great for me!
Cheri Coffman what skin type do you have? I'm super oily, and I love this one. I've never tried the pro matte, though.
kcricket39 quite dry in winter to dry/combo in warm weather. I have a bit of rosacea so I get dry patches on my cheeks. But I didn't have any issues with it clinging to dry patches because I really slather on the moisturizer before I put on the foundation.
Cheri Coffman works great with the pro glow too, as that one works better on my skin. I like it solo best though I think.
Great idea about mixing the foundations. I have the Pro Glow already. If I get this 24hr one I will have to try the 2 together.

Hey Tati! Can you do a review on the new NYX control drop foundation? I'm curious if it's a dupe of the Cover FX custom cover drops.
Look at Emily Noel's video she just did a review on it if you haven't already seen it.
Florence she's said in the past that NYX face products cause her to have an allergic reaction. I wish she was able to review that one too!
I'd also say look at Emily Noel's video. She does talk about the cover FX custom cover drops and compares them.
Florence I've been trying them out to review. They are less pigmented. They don't wear long and they work better mixing them with a foundation. 😉 the hard candy ones are much better and half the price I reviewed those.
The1nonlymaria The thing of the NYX ones that really appeals to me is the shade selection. I'm as white as toilet paper so I'm excited to see if there is finally a shade that matches me

Tati, please try the lipsense by senegence! It's supposed to be smudge proof, waterproof, all-proof lol I've seen another youtuber try it but she wasn't as descriptive as you and I prefer your opinion!
for what Tati says about this foundation, seems like this one is very similar to the Estée louder full coverage. I can't wait to try this loreal one!!! :D

Alissa M she uses different facial oils I believe. I've been doing this since her suggestion. I love my Fresh Seaberry oil or a drop of basic jojoba oil or avacado oil. Jojoba oil is molecularly close to our own sebum so it's great on the face. Tarte's maracuja oil is also good.

Alissa M I don't know how common this is but I have just discovered I'm allergic to jojoba oil. It's not horrible but it causes a pretty intense itching under the skin for about 5 minutes. Physicians formula has an argon oil that you can find at the drugstore that is very good too

It sounds like this foundation would be a good dupe for the Urban Decay All Nighter... that one also accentuates dry patches a bit, and it looks matte/not entirely natural. You didn't mention oxydizing, so I guess it could potentially even be better...?!

Just came back from the drugstore and they had like ONE tester in 303, same color Tati used, and so I tried it on my hand, and I agree, it doesn't oxydize, and I thought it felt very smooth and creamy, unlike the UDAN that feels rather stiff and dry from the get go..! I flaked out of trying it out today, but I'll try and check for sales or coupons for next time! A little seems to go a long way, and when I touch the hand I applied it on, it feels silky smooth, it's unnoticeable, and my hands have been super dry lately...! Seems like a good sign to me! :D

It super appeals to me that it locks in because I live in a super humid and hot city, so I think its a great choice for where I live!
I add a bit of rosetip oil to this foundation and it makes it so much better! I also mix it with a bit of the og matte infallible and it adds a bit of a more smooth finish :)

Cheryl Johnson I absolutely love this foundation. I use the NYX pore filling primer where my pores are bad, and then the maybelline baby skin all over my face. Its the perfect priming combo for me, and I seriously love this foundation. New holy grail for me

You looked great all day long! I may have to search this one out and hope that they have a very pale with yellow tone match for my skin. I'm very pale with pink tones, the yellow tone of the foundation blocks the pink tones of my skin without having to use a color corrector. Maybe 301, which looks a bit pink but can be worked with.

I actually went out and bought this, I got 4 shades and I am actually using 303 and 304. I did exfoliate the night before and moisturizer and primed before. I wore it to work today and didn't mind it, it didn't cake oh my nose or break up my forehead. I used a beauty blender and I really liked it and have super dry skin always so I was really surprised. I can't even wear the Anastasia stick because it picks up on every dry patch

Ahhhh. I've heard different opinions about the concealer sponge ): With you it looked so easy to blend. With other people I've seen, it leaves it cakey and whatnot.. guess I've got to try it out 🤔

I recommend mixing this foundation with the Pro-Glow I'd you have dry skin... it makes it dewier
I like it. If you buff it, it will get a natural sheen. You can use it on body too.
For dance performances I have to wear fake eyelashes and I also wear them during the day when I want to have that extra voluminous lashes and I have tried everything to take off that extra glue that is sometimes left over and I started to use the Lancôme eye makeup remover and it completely gets rid of all that pesky leftover glue ( I use the duo eyelash glue)

I knew as soon as you were shade 303 that this wasn't gonna work for me (yay Scottish/Irish heritage). But I was surprised how light the darker tones were and how quickly they stopped. Seemed to have a tonne of range and variety for light to medium but pants if you're anything else :/

I know not all drugstores have testers, but I know the one I go to quite often, shoppers drugmart, has testers
Oh, and I also have this foundation as well. I have acne prone skin plus redness, and this foundation works beautifully, yes it does pick up dry patches a bit, but I always make sure I use moisturizer before, and that helps a little.
This is a little off topic, but Tati you look gorgeous without false lashes! Like it really makes you look brighter and younger (if that makes sense :p)
