In addition to a great product and warranty, their customer service is beyond "ultimate ". We ordered a seat and there was a problem in fit. They sent us a new seat immediately, without getting the first seat back. Not only did they send us a seat but sent a upgraded seat as we were leaving on a trip. They told us to go ahead and run with the seat even though our trip would be longer than the 14 day return policy. All this was done with TWO phone calls. We are in the midst of a 3,000 mile trip and they ARE NOT getting this seat back. All around great experience. Thank you Ultimate!
Thanks Chris, this is Jumper. I have been thinking about ordering that ultimate seat with the crocodile inlay. Wow, !!! after seeing yours l will be placing that order this week. Men , that seat really does a lot for that bike.👍🏾
Just installed mine today. I was over thinking it. It’s just that simple….4 bolts. I went with the Tall Boy and for a taller rider it just gives you a bit more leg room.
Hi Chris, your new Ultimate seat looks amazing. I'm riding a 2023 DCT Tour and I really dislike the OWM seat. I have to stop after 100 miles. I'm looking at purchasing an Ultimate seat this winter. And I'm looking forward to your Ultimate Seat full review. Just on a side note, 64 degrees is a great riding temperature here in Canada. 😅
I have an Ultimate Seat on my 2018 DCT and just completed a round trip to Halifax NS from Kitchener Ont. The seat is very conformable and looks great. Keep in mind you need the Ultimate rain covers to protect it from water ingress into the stitching.
I have the Corbin on my 2015 and it’s very comfortable, I love it. Now I’ve heard reports that the Corbin for the 2018 and newer isn’t comfortable at all. I have a friend that put one on his 2018 and he hated it so I think the Ultimate seat may be better for your model.
Hey Chris - seats are a difficult one. Everybody's built a little different. What works for one person isn't necessarily the best for another. And it can be an expensive mistake. You mentioned the Russell Daylong and there's so many good reviews about it. The downtime isn't a big deal in the north when our bikes are winterized. I caught that you mentioned the pans on the Ultimate are made from better materials than OEM. Do you know what's different? I'm still riding the '05 OEM with an Air Hawk beneath a sheep skin I got from Alaskan Leathers. The Mrs. uses a Purple brand pad under her sheep skin. It works, but I keep thinking if we have to pad them up, there's probably a better solution? Good review and you've given me another option to consider. Thank you. Looks like you're trying out a 360 camera system.
My 2019' DCT has the OEM and I've been goin' round and round on correctin' my seat as it's good on short run's but nothin' over a few hours - Ultimate may be my next move - of course that's only IF we are all not about to put in our orders fer the ALL NEW 24' Wing about to drop -lol
Seat and bars….consternation on every bike I’ve ever owned. So much so that I now, by default, add a couple grand, in my mind, to every bike purchase price. 😢
Are you still riding the ultimate seat…that backrest fitment is not that great..if you look under you will many other folks complain about th 1/2 gap between the seat and trim…not what i expected…might just go back to RDL…

@skychaser59 thanks! I'm good for about 160 km with the OEM seat and then i have to stop for a bit. So this winter I'm ordering the ultimate.
Got the ultimate and it's so smooth.

Hey Chris
I need one of those seats
What camera did you use to make this video?
Nice seat
Is the ultimate seat waterproof? I have a hard time buying something that's not waterproof for motorcycle.
