I’ll never forget seeing this on our local South Jersey/Phila PBS station probably around 1980 or so…. completely shitting myself. A Cheap Trick concert on TV?? WTF?? I saw them at the Spectrum May 9, 1979 3 months after this was filmed…. I was 9, met Rick that night though my Dad who had local connections. Budokan was exploding on the radio, Dream Police was in the pipeline, what a magical time to be a fan. Great job on this man
Thanks so much for posting this. I remember watching this when it went out and I became fan forever. Just magical. I'm sure this one'll make lot of people very happy. The band is on fire... Zander's voice is just awesome!
Thank you my friend, I didn't sync it up. I'm a professional producer and just remastered the audio properly. Here's my band ua-cam.com/video/pkil1X8HP9A/v-deo.html
@@TARDISNCOOKIES I thought that as the audio was posted was earlier this week....Sounds and looks excellent. I was lucky to see this on PBS later in 1979.
The story goes that Robin was actually a waiter at the beginning of their career as such; he would race outta the restaurant speeding away just in time to get to their concert! lol 😂 Sincerely, DJP Boston Massachusetts Amerikkka of course! 😂
Thanks for posting this! I haven't seen it since I was a kid in high school. My memory is that it aired on PBS. Still as great as I remember it to have been!
If you are interested in obtaining any of my shows, please email me at Tardis.N.Cookies@gmail.com I have them all on my personal cloud and will happily send you a link to obtain all the shows at once.

Whoa! Have not seen this since Brad Elvis showed it to me back in 83 or 84
Awesome. Thank you. They rule so hard
Thank you so much.
When Rick was asked about this night, he said "... but Robin was sick and so was the sound ...". It's in one of the British music mags - MM or NME.
5 months after I saw them for the first time. My favorite period of Cheap Trick's career.

Killer work yet again Bobby! They're on fire here.
Another level with that remastering. Great 👏
Okay, this is by far, besides seeing them live in 1978, the most outrageous and wild performance captured on video I have ever seen
