Powerful!!! Love lookout esp. The Osaka take... Best live. Can't even imagine this as an album track really, although I wouldn't complain! Can't top the live version imo 👍 Love Cheap Trick, past & present 🥁
Bravo for the astute camera work on the middle guitar section. How many times have I wanted to see that played precisely since, what, 1977? Ha. Thanks!
JC Haywire I keep coming back to this video and EVERY time there's a new detail I love. Rick's backing vocals have always been unfathomable to me. He's on mic part of the time, singing partial phrases, and in this squeaky register that works perfectly with Robin's sound. I'm really glad they brought this song back into the setlist.
+Westrocker 67 You and I both. COCO seems to be just the open E walked up with the low E and high BE droning, right? Then the verses are just straight barre/power chords. I'm fairly certain. The lead fills would be nice to see. Rick plays them sloppily different every time, though. Let me know if you see anything.
JC Haywire It's the beginning of Come On that's the most elusive sounding to me. I've heard it played 2 ways and still both have escaped me. I read an interview with Rick where he stated that his chord choices are ones that don't require him to be constantly looking at the fretboard, cause he's too busy running around.
First band I ever saw. I was in 8th grade. Lloyd Noble Center in Norman Oklahoma. Very loud. Pete on bass was a bit of a surprise but still sounded cool. Rick threw a guitar far off stage. It was not caught but bounced off a speaker cabinet.

Nice little gem. Cheap Trick America's if not the world's greatest rock band!
I never tire of Cheap Trick, especially Robin's voice.
A wee gem of a tune!
Cheap Trick is AWESOME!
After all these years, they have not lost one bit of their talent and their sound.
Man, that first note just blew me away. Then the rest of it..... really really cool sound.

+JC Haywire I was studying the same thing..now what I'd REALLY like to see some close up action of is Come On, Come On!

Such a great semi deep track from at Budokan
Cheap Trick Rules!
Robins got some serious pipes.
In my top 10 favorite songs of theirs!
Great drum and bass recording.
STUNNING!

Awesome.
One of my favorite songs. Great close ups of all the band members. How do they jam sitting down? Thanks for sharing.
Ace!!!
Wow
Kids this is how you do it.
There is a bass player, camera person.
The bass player did get camera time, but that was more at the start.
What's with the voice over?
To prevent bootlegging as a track. That was the equivalent of a watermark on a photograph.
Cheap sound. Maybe they can sing about real life Situation . They sould out
Ain't that a shame that Bun E is no longer in the band. Travesty.
I noticed that too
Rick plays better sat down!
