I've been wearing various Dr. Martens boots and shoes for over 30 years, so I got another pair of black Bonny leather chukkas earlier this year. I like the brown version, but I bought them at a local shoe shop and all they had was black.
Believe it or not, you can get some really good pearl snap button shirts from Wrangler and their heritage line. They definitely have some attractive styles, especially their more retro inspired colors and prints.
I recently acquired a pair of Red Wing 875 first generation from 2007! It is so comfortable, it’s unreal! I’m still stoked I got them for $175. What a deal for a first generation boots.
I think the Parkhurst Allen is the best service boot short of a White’s or Viberg. I also own Astorflex Greenflex chukkas, which are the version Huckberry sold previously before the Brownflex. Basically the same as your’s but the Greenflex has a slightly larger toe box. I also have Red Wing Classic Moc’s, one pair I bought 30 years ago, and 8875 Irish Setter’s purchased a couple years ago. I like Grant Stone, too. I have the Brass Boot and Plain Toe blucher. We now have many excellent choices for top quality, durable, great looking boots made with the best materials. Your video affirms my selections. 😊
What boots did you wear the most in 2024?
mostly my RW IR this year. a lot of wear on my 1000 mile boots also. Picking up a pair of RW 875's after the holidays
@@drewengles4477 Nice! I've been eyeballing a pair of 1000 Mile Boots for a long time.

Wow! Great boot at an amazing price!
Great picks. Loved the Parkhurst Allen. What color are the chukkas?
Thanks! They’re tobacco. I’m not sure if they still have that color.
What are the colors called for the Parkhurst and both Rhodes? Thanks!
I beliueve the Parkhurst is just called Prairie, and the Rhodes is Taupe.
I wasnt a fan of the Garrison before because I thought the wedge sole was a bad choice but it really looks a lot better with some wear on it.
For sure. Great boot!
Really liking the Grant Stone Garrison, mine are the Walpier Veg Tan Waxed Burro.
Very cool!
Taylor stitch moto boot in grizzly leather. Got them on killer sale. They’re solid and cross the boundary well of stylish and hard use boot
Great looking boots! BA!
No Russell moccasin, no Nicks?
I don’t own either of those but I hope to in the future.
Not really in the price range of this video are they?
@@matthewzaloudek I don't own very many boots over $400. I think my Oak Streets are the only ones.
