Always enjoy seeing the knowledge and informative info on your platform. What is a good b-cam for the fx3 under a 1000 dollar. Also can you use canon or black magic? I know the color science would be different.

Great tips. We have a several of their plugins. Very cool tech.
That part about “ breaking the video down to 40 second sections “ for your scenes was a good tip for me when it comes to editing and knowing how to show different scenes
It takes less time on set as well, you don’t have to run through the entire songs for performances.
Would love more of these, these are super informative and awesome to watch.
This is great man. You're always dropping so any gems. Much appreciation
run and gun videos are life
This is so good man, as a videographer who does some music videos, the pre-production bit was super dope to see. Keep it up !!
I fucking love this. I think doing run and gun is a good challenge. So you know where you fall and where you rise in pre/post. I definitely love all of this.
Another one {n my dj khaled voice} lol and for the record I would love to see more from start to finish breakdowns! Thanks again brah!💯
Good shit man! Dope video breakdown
I appreciate it bro
Thanks for another great video tutorial. I love your style brotha you continue to inspire!
This is school right here. A lot of work went into this, obviously. Really helpful. Clear. Awesome share. Great information. Thank you.
Well this could not have come at a better time! Just about to start the edit on my first music video in several years.
Chris dis is dope yute. Love the organised methods you use to produce the quality at the end of the day
I successfully filmed my first event because of you. Thank for everything you do. It’s more than appreciated ✊🏾
I love it when you show the process and behind the scenes. Genius bro!! Super Dope Video fasho!
Thanks for sharing this, I know that it takes a lot of time to make this type of videos, but it is what I like to see the most (personal opinion), it helps many, especially some details, even many times we forget that simplicity is the beauty
y’all let it go over ya head but peep how he said @5:42 “that shot was ass” like bruh when I say I felt that I FELT THAT as a fellow shooter if I can’t get the shot I’m envisioning ION WANT IT!!!!!! it can really be a lil frustrating especially when it feels like a simple easy shot but one thing I’ve learned after shooting over 100 music videos it’s the simple shots that are the hardest and the most pickiest one to get meanwhile the shots that we think is hard to get are real simple it’s crazy
Haha definitely man, when it’s the one you know it’s the one & when it’s not you know it’s not.
Love the color
Super informative and helpful. Thanks a lot for making this.
we need more of these. it's so inspiring to watch your process. thank you.
This was super helpful YC. Loved it, Thank you. Also, which software was that at the start with the planning and board?
I appreciate it! I was using Milanote, just added it to the description. Here’s a link: milanote.com/ycimaging
Been watching since 2020 quarantine. This is one of my favourite creative channels..great content Bro!Definitely love the walk through approach. Yes, do more
I appreciate it
I always like watching your Video breakdowns. and how you use lighting in a real world setting
Hey! Great video!! Did you use sharpening in post? I use the c70 and the exact same lenses and my video is much softer
I added sharpness to this video, it depends on the vibe for the project. Sometimes I reduce sharpness
Do you film the entire song on each different scene?
How do you film with multiple artist? Do you shoot their scenes separately or do you shoot the entire song with all artist each scene?
I film sections of the songs in each scene, I try not to film the entire song.
I love the breakdowns bro. I don't do music videos anymore but it gives me ideas for more interesting videos for commercial type stuff.
Been stuck on your videos all night. Great information. I’m ready to work now. Mind sharing what you’re using for you mood board/story board ?
Planning a music vid right now, first ideas were to have the artist wake up/sit on bed/look in bathroom mirror. Jumped on here to see if you had made any vids relevant and found this!
My man. Thanks.
As someone having anxiety about their shoot tomorrow, this is insanely helpful
Thank you! I wanted to also point out that no matter how many of these types of videos you do, they are always valuable because seeing variations can help put context to the theory and techniques that you talk about.
Dude amazing pls make luts for the C70!!!🔥
Yc definitely helped me grow. I wished we could have worked together while you were atl
Excellent cinematography. I loved the look and colors of the music video. And I always love these breakdowns and BTS. You can learn so much from them. Great work.
I made it; first view, comment and like
Shout out YC
I am very impressed with you young man, congratulations on having your head on straight! You’ll be going far !
Can you make a video with shooting techniques to capture certain shots
My man.. you know... i love you.. as an artist & in a platonic way. Great video ..again! 😁

Yo bro , please make a video for Cinematic Camera Movements & Angles.
thank u for this! i'm shooting my first mv soon and i need all the help i can get lol
Forget 1st, 4th is best spot!! 👌🏽What software were you using to make that layout/storyboard?
I appreciate it! I was using Milanote, just added it to the description. Here’s a link: milanote.com/ycimaging
@@YCImaging Thanks! 👁👄👁
yeahh defo enjoy this full process videos bro! dope work
This is fire!!! Appreciate you for this man. Learnt a lot from your content.
Do you have a tutorial on how you edit the videos. All the ones I’ve watched was via multicam. From your timeline I see it’s different, would be interested to see how it’s synced up and put together? Or if anyone else can point me to a tutorial. Thanks
I don’t have an editing tutorial as of yet.
Excellent Champion

Dude, you're tutorials and behind the scenes are so freaking good. Cheers.
Thanks for the walkthrough! Always appreciate you going through your creative process for projects. Would definitely like to see more. At night are you usually setting a higher kelvin temperature for your lighting?
Thanks! Honestly it just depends on where I wanna go with color, I try to film neutral whenever I don’t know where I’m going in post.
Video came out fire! loving the consistency last Couple weeks, people need your content!
U make the best music video breakdowns/BTS
Good morning! My name is Noni, and I am a digital cinematographer student at Full Sail University. I've always enjoyed photography and filmmaking, and I'd like to start taking my passion more seriously by using my photographic skills in the real estate and modeling industries. Should I form an LLC and apply for business funding to obtain the equipment I require? Or should I start small, don't worry about the business side of things, and simply have contracts ready for my clients to review? Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated.
too sick. Super helpful video man, thanks
This was dope. Definitely subbing and watching more
Thanks man for this precious inspiration for any kind of video, not just music ones!
What is the monitor you used with your c70?
color grade look so good
This breakdown was 🔥 man. Great job and thanks for sharing. Great content Yc 👏
Great video, loving seeing how you make things come together. Also, I know they get hated on, but minivans honestly make great vehicles for rolling shots from a car. Just swing the side door open.
The minivan idea is actually genius!
You did your thing with this video bro. The composition the color grade 🔥🔥🔥. Did you manual focus on the C70 for this video? Also did you use the electronic stabilization in cam?
I appreciate it! The I used manual focus for this one, no stabilization.
I made it first view
Thanks for this. This was excellent.
Really liked the look of this music video
yeah, I want you to keep doing this video
"I feel like that was ass to be honest" HAHAHA
one of my favorite videos! I can see all the hard work you put in on doing the video too!
Damn I learn something from you every time thanks for this definitely appreciate it🔥🔥🔥🔥
I appreciate you checking this out.
As for the night shots, do you have any trick how to minimize noise? Or you just fix it in post , not thinking about it to much?
These shots are lowlight, but not high iso if that makes sense. I had a ton of light here. I’d say if you need to get the shot just get it, try denoising but if that doesn’t work just add more grain to make it look intentional.
More vids like this .. please 😍
Definitely understand being scared to go over the top with the grade but I tried it on my last video came out pretty cool.
Just wanna buy this lut😅😅😅😅
Yo bro really great video! What are you using for transportation most of the time. I have been considering getting a work truck or van for my gear. I’m rocking a Hyundai Elantra and it is getting a little small for all the cases and stuff I want to bring on location.
Don’t take rest after your first victory because if you fail in second, more lips are waiting to say that your first victory was just luck.
Do you use ND Filters for your music video shooting?
Majority of the time I used built in ND filter.
Like before i even watch.
Love seeing the BTS vids!
Insane how this has this few views........music video is DOPE! Music fire as well??? Props! Great work as always!
That 50 1.2 man. Money.
I got this lens for such a steal, it’s a dope lens.
Your videos are so cool.. what do you suggest to buy between c70 or fx6?
I’ve never used the Fx6, but they’re both great cameras.
@@YCImaging thanks for replying .. 🙏
As always thanks.
But it’s Opposite Day
been waiting on ya... you remind people like me that there is always a way
More of these please
True run and gun.. B reel, B reel, B reel.. and no I’m not talking the cat from cypress hill. Just shoot everything. Macro, landscape, moving, transitions. You will thank me later during the chop 😬
Great video man!
Your attention to detail in the edit is N'th degree pro level ! ,I had no idea how much effort it takes to do what you do .Thanks for the insight .Cheers to you good sir !
I appreciate it
Love the long content!
🌏We will Definitely have a place in the music industry fam🔥📈‼️
do more of these!!
I love to learn more staff from. I have this passion for shooting music videos. I have been watching and learning from two years ago.
wish i could watch your channel more because i truly feel like you have good ideas/tips and your stuff actually looks good... just sucks to be hit with a 5min ad of a shitty money grabbing product right in the middle of this... could really tell you were struggling to make up ways in which this product would be worthwhile for anyone who actually does this sort of stuff.. i know this isnt a unique take.. just thought i'd offer some criticism since your comment section is an echo chamber of positivity
What would be an alternative to this motion VFX I need something for premiere pro do you have any recommendations anybody
I have sigma and Canon lenses . If it was same price would you rather have a 24mm Canon 1.4 over the sigma 24mm 1.4 on a c70?
Your channel grows with that beard. So does my love for your work
so much heat in this video YC! anyone know what program he's using for the video treatment at the beginning ?
The people want more RedHead videos 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Definitely my new fav film UA-camr 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
The ad 😖
How long is your editing process
This one was fairly fast honestly, after I organized footage it took a few hours.
👀
nice
