That might be the best advice, man. I have made two music videos and I am proud of them, cause I did them with very little resources even thouth the second one we were a 3 man team and I as a director was in front of the camera. Now I am working on the concept and screenplay for two other music videos. For me this seems to be the hardest part as I try to come up with specific things and yet it just doesn't clic. But I'll get there eventually.
Thank you for mentioning Hues, I never touch hues knob, I have to explore more and try to learn about it. Definitely need more videos like this, bcz there is very less videos on UA-cam specifically about filmaking in music videos. Thank you again ❤️
Thanks for the video! Much appreciated, absolute beginner, going to start making videos for my own music and videos for my friends. Just using my phone a gimbal and a light.
Thank you for the Video. Question, which smart phone would you recommend for 'Events Videography' in terms of 'capturing music, dancing, experiences between people and Editing it all after to create amazing music videos?' Would it be the Google Pixel, Iphone 15, Samsung, Sony or another smart phone? Creating music videos & film making is key here. Note; most of the events will be at night with various flashing lights. Look forward to your wisdom. Many thanks, Gary
I like using the vertical of the camera, should I use horizontal because it fills the screen width wise better.......I shoot only by myself, so its hard to make it interesting in the same spot unable to move because of the audience around me.
i like how this man casually showed kevin gates lmao. but i just watched about 3 vids discussing music videos. yours was the only one that discussed aperture tips and actual camera movements. loved the vid. about to shoot my first music video tho. i needed this. 🤞🏾
I actually have very in depth thoughts anout this LOOL. Honestly I’d shoot most of it on a tripod and shoot st my highest possible resolution and do lots of post production movement. You can also set up some automated products like Edelkrone stuff or even gimbals with preset movements to add to it. On top of that just set up good scenes and lighting and you’re good to go!
ive literally proudced the beat ,,rapped and edited all these videos by myself.. you can do anything you set your mind to.ua-cam.com/video/gYzS1oVS0Vc/v-deo.html
@@donttrustnobody1yes I have a camera. I just bought the iPhone 13 for the camera. I was gonna get the ax700 by Sony but I just thought this might be simpler.
Great video! There's just this one thing: every time you lean on your desk, the screen shakes a bit and I can't help but notice it. I know, not very useful as feedback, but it really bugs me :D
Honestly really depends what you’re shooting and if you need autofocus or not. BMPCC doesnt have auto focus so you’ll need to find an alternative for that. A lot to take into account
Straight up, you need to learn about headroom in operating camera its all over the place in your videos. Respect for trying to help everyone getting into this
I feel you, just most of my clients like a ton of movement so Im usually running on the MoVi alone and have a lot to focus on! But as long as my clients like it Im happy!!
amazing video!! Im a beginner videographer for dancers and always struggling with getting that sharp footage and also colorbalance in setting! Can you recommend a budget system camera? (atm shooting with Sony a7rii)! Thanks for your wisdom!
Glad you enjoyed the video!! The R series for Sony are more photo based, so maybe even get a S series if you want to stay in the Sony ecosystem. A7s3 is a beast of a low light camera!
@@Minhute Thank you so much! a year after purchase I came across article that told the same thing; more photo based. the A7s3 ... not for my wallet atm :D so I am looking for more budget alternatives! Thanks again for the advice about f2 - f4

What’s some good portable lighting to invest in??
My favorites are the Aputure MC and MX! Quasars and other tubes are pretty good to invest in also.

Depends what camera you’re using!
I’m using the Nikon D7500 with a Ronin S. I know some people per set their focus before movements. Was wondering if you had any tips ?
Usually I use autofocus on my gimbal! Continuous tracking
