They actually kept the Monte Carlo tower sign in the Showboat Hotel in atlantic city, it's on display and shining as bright as it did on the rivera
Well, at least that Rivera logo found a new home.

Why didn’t they turn off the electricity ?
Perhaps the explosions were started electrically?
It’s because when the implosion falls the electricity off

They would have stripped it out but left the light maybe on the same circuit as the trigger systems for the explosives. It's been done before... led lights need 12v not much a car battery would run that amount of lights.
