WOW! I thought you were going to top stitch the top ... but, I gather than folding it down would hold it all in place. It is a cute little basket, quite handy. A larger size will be a marvel to behold.
This has the creative juices flowing! Awesome quick project. I picture these sitting everywhere in my house as little catch-all baskets. The possibilities are endless. They would also make great gifts.
Another fantastic idea Annette!!! Love the idea of making larger sizes of baskets. These will be great to give to my local Christmas charity as they are always hoping for gifts for adults and seniors. Your ideas inspire so many wonderful things. Hugs from Canada.
@@sunbeamfabricart Hi Annette. I'm way ahead of you--personal care items and treats such as tea and candy packs were my first idea!!! You are the best.
Thank you for that. Someone gave me one years ago that I use for my thread, thimble, clips etc, for sewing down binding. I always wondered how she made it. Great idea.
This is perfect. I have lots of scraps and I’m going on a quilt retreat the first week in October I think I’m going to make everyone that’s attending one of these baskets. Would you consider doing a tutorial on a larger size? I’m afraid I’m not very good at adjusting patterns to change the size.
This is a great idea and the tutorial was very concise and complete. Adding to my Pinterest board of ideas! Always excellent content; thanks! PS-would using a rectangle instead of a square result in a taller basket?
Ohhhh I love that Annette 👏👏👏 What type of batting did you use? It looked to have a sort of stiffness; which looked as though it was perfect for your beautiful, functional basket!!! (Can anyone say run on sentence😜!?!) Keep em coming, I just love all of your videos🥰 ❤️😀
Cute container. Great idea for scraps.
Thank you! 😊
I love to hear you say your scrap bin is *out of control* - your colourful basket is so cute 🥰
Thanks Lesley!! 🥰. And yes, it’s all relative. My space is so small if I overflow that bin there’s just nowhere else! 😂
