Great lot of books. For me, the best run of the X-men was from issue 94 (including Giant-size #1) through the Dark Phoenix Saga (#138). I am missing a few in this run (including Giant-size #1), but I am working to get them.
Nice books. 129 is the book that surprised me when I looked at the values of that era of X-Men after being out of collecting for 40 years. Never would have thought it would be more valuable than issues 130 or even the 137 death issue. Back then, that death issue was the one collectors spec'd on probably because of the value of ASM 121 and 122 at that time.
That was good how you got down to business explaining at the beginning of the video to the haters out there. LOL. We've yet to see a comment that says, "That guy ripped you off." LOL. Thanks for sharing those amazing covers. I hope you get that Giant Sized Xmen #1 from him some day. Keep us posted.
All great books, I am glad to have multiple high grade copies of all 5 (or 6)...2 copies of #100, 3 copies of #109, 3 copies of #121 (2 copies of #120), 4 copies of #129, and 4 copies of #130.

I don’t think you ripped that guy off. It depends entirely on the grade. Bronze books at less than VF aren’t worth much. There are a zillion of them out there.
I'm currently working on my run of X-Men 94-300 and I'm at the point where I'm mostly done everything from 129 and above. But from 94-128 is going to be tough to finish off. Soooo many great (and pricey) key books in there. But undoubtedly one of the great all-time runs. Aside from the early silver age blue chips from ASM and FF, I don't think there's a better run of comics than X-Men #94 through the Days of Future Past arc in #142. Considering the ~50 issues between 94-142, half of them are probably what we'd call "foundational" books. What a crazy run of successes Claremont had! Thanks for the great video!
I appreciate it. In all honesty I think I overpaid for this lot. I wanted to pay up for it in hopes it would leave the relationship open to purchase more. However, it dried up very quickly.

Wolverine gets "smoked" again on the cover of Alpha Flight #17 (X-Men #109 double-take) and is a stark contrast to his standing on the cover of X-Men #133.
Great books! Raw Claremont X-Men books seem to be an exception to the market downturn. I got the full run last year during the bubble for much less than today's FMV, and was buying primarily from stores. I don't say that to brag (ok, maybe a little) but to say that I believe there is always demand here and prices will always slowly go up when there is no news, and who knows how hot they'll get when there is news. I think these are timeless keys.

Love it! I agree. This started with me wanting to collect the Phoenix saga stuff. And I’ve fallen in love with that run again.
That 100 is a cool book and it looks way higher grade than a 5 to 5.5 from what I can see.

X-men #100 is the very first comic book I ever got. My Dad came home from the store and got it for me.

The difference between a 9.8 and a 9.6 in those X-men books is HUGE. I have a X-men cgc 9.6 #121 and cgc 9.8 #120 bought both raw for $100 each
