I only found Jimmy about 2 weeks ago when I started to get interested in racing games again and then started looking at wheels and pedals and sim (and game) options. I only know that "man lost a lot in life and lived in shed for some time; decided to start a UA-cam channel and now has over half a million subscribers". That's a hell of a humbling and motivating story. Wondering right now what I'm doing with my own life that compares (hint: nothing!).
Nice vid as always. You are without a shadow of a doubt one of the more gifted sim racers on UA-cam in my humble opinion. Commentating, driving and not failing miserably at either one is a seldom seen skill. Also if youtube ever gets boring and you're looking for another line of work I could well imagine that you would be a really successful commentator on motors port. You're voice also reminds me of a commentator who covered the f1 back in the Schumacher days. Me and my dad used to watch it together. Kudos again Jimmy for the spot on content you provide you're viewers on a daily basis.
That would take really long to make and the game file size would be really big, also fps would drop massively. Would love to see it too ofc, but those are the problem
I loves games like this. Since getting a sim rig rally games have become my favourite things to play. Sure, doing laps of the nordschleiffe in some crazy hypercar is a lot of fun, and so is a large exciting race. But somehow throwing a 50 something year old mini cooper through a rainy countryside setting is so much more exhilarating.
Holy shit I haven't watched one of your videos in about 3 years and I can't believe how different you look! I thought it was a new channel or something lol. Congrats on all the success.
I got wrc 8, 9, and 10 in a bundle for like $40 and so far wrc 9 has been my favorite. Has the best handling, a good amount of tracks, and very lovely graphics
I'd like to see that too. I recently watched a video where he said he'd lost about 1500 quid due to a seller backing out of a sale. Hoping he found something that works for him! Would be cool to see it.
@@Hpro265 They added new cars too and redid a whole lot on the physics side Edit: Yes, I agree, sounds need some work. It's not terrible, but not great either
I think WRC8 looks way better than all the other driving sims simply because of the detail, the rocks on the road, the clouds incoming when it's gonna rain, a sunrise after a cold night which lets you know there's going to be more grip on the tarmac... You also get those sharp rocks on the side of the road on some rally stages which really sell the stage for me at least. My most favorite moment in WRC8 is probably going all out in monte carlo climbing a mountain just to see a beautiful sunrise on the other side, and I dont get that type of experience in anything else.
Hey Jimmer hope you are doing well loving the channel as always and loving the formula 1 streams, I have missed them live but make sure to watch them :) I bought WRC 8 on sale on PS4 pro I really enjoy it it’s fun. Keep it up legend keep being you.
As part of Kenya coming back to the WRC was that it would follow a similar format to other rallies with shorter, planned stages rather than how they use to be. That will be part of the reason this games stages are similar to other rallies.
I guess the WRC 9 is just WRC 8 with new stages and a bit more bug fixing and making the experience slightly better. Btw I am surprised you came second (didnt want to insult you there). Great job, liked, already subscribed, keep it up!
You have me hooked on rally racing. I had dirt 2.0 on the Xbox one with a regular controller. NL Xbox one just gave me WRC8 for free on gameplay. I just started this one and I love the interactive menus. May I suggest more WRC eight videos. And how you can go through the menus to build your team.
