Things you don't want to hear from your co-driver while rallying on a fast one lane mountain road "These are question marks, take your own guess for what they are... left probably" 😂

Imagine being a rally driver flying down a gravel road at 100mph waiting to hear what’s coming up and your co-driver says “oh god what does that mean?” While looking at his notes 😂😂
@@ugn669 To be fair that's the kind of thing that a lot of rally drivers have their own version of. Watch rally footage and you'll hear all kinds of different ways to say it. Easy left, flat left, fast left, slight left etc etc. It's all about what works for that pair in specific.
Hearing your co-driver say "what's that mean?" is like hearing a pilot on a hot mic say "what's that button do?" Both scenarios will end up in huge panic, followed by painful death
this had me actually laughing at my screen (instead of the usual "loud exhale" that funny stuff on the internet normally elicits from viewers), feel free to make more of this!
as a newbie just now getting interested in sim racing, I can't stop watching your channel man. Love the videos and the energy. Looking to get myself a CSL DD and fanatec setup soon! Looks like so much fun
That forbidden/prohibited sign with nothing in it is the good old "don't cut" warning. Calling it out as caution in Sanremo was better than not calling at all at Monte Carlo though xD I feel like this could be a lot bigger with rally fans and e-sports if people just knew it exists. Congratz to Jimmy and Bailey for making a jolly fun video on this feature!
Definitely one of the funniest videos I've watched in a while, I actually rewatched straight after watching. There's plenty of fun & games with mates potential in this.
Me and my friend did this on Dirt Rally 2.0 except we had to make our own pace notes by driving the course very slowly on our own and had to actually keep up with our scribbles in relation to where we were in the course. It was really fun, but went about as well as you would expect
Definitely make another video or a series, this was one of the best videos I've seen in a long time, I hardly ever laugh at videos and this one I was laughing constantly. On a different note, I wonder if this would help people who stutter or say the wrong things considering how important it is and just how easy it is to make a mistake.
It's easier to drift in a tight parking lot as a driver, than calling an entire stage out accurately as a co-driver. Co-drivers are the real goats and oft underestimated. 🤙
I was in a course car recently at a local Canadian rally... Got lost in a bunch of 5s and 6s, couldn't find which 5L 6R 6L 5R we were at.. told the driver "I'm just not even going to try. The next one you have to worry about is a 1R at the lake. Double caution! If I end up swimming, I shall be very angry!" We didn't end up in the lake.
Thank you Jimmy and Bailey. I've not laughed like this for a long time! Please please please stream this kind of thing or make a regular series out of it
You and Bailey need to do this in Assetto Corsa on the Trento-Bondon hillclimb and make some notes! This video was fantastic btw, always love a kettle appearance.
Rally co drivers don't get enough credits, basically describing every detail of the road while barely seeing it and not puking, and adjusting to the rhythm of the driver.
I've tried to do this in beamng with friends, and I think it's easier IRL because you can tell when you're onto the next part by feeling that you've passed your current note
This was awesome. As others said, could be a good series trying this with other people. I feel sad when I see Bailey going way faster without or with wrong pacenotes than I can with perfect ones though...
When you’re flying down a mountain and your co driver hits you with a “Left probably”
xD
"Square Right, I guess?"
"Question mark"
"Hairpin Left, I think?"

Just a little tip, when it says "Fl" (at the "6" corners) it means flat-out (you keep saying "fast left"). Very nice and funny video though!
