3:40 cool man 👏
Try enabling the metal rendering for apple in the blender preferences. It has shown to be faster for some
thank you for this video
thanks for sharing ! it's very cool👍🏻
Thank you
Just got blender on my MacBook Air m2 and unfortunately I’m stuck with “ system has run out of application memory” even BEFORE render ( to be more specific, when I started the textures). Have you met the same problem with your Mac? If yes, do you have any solutions?
is it an 8gb model?
@@Lucas1Apple12 yes
@@Lucas1Apple12 I was doing a donut tutorial, thought it was simple enough for my 8 RAM ....
the issue its not your mac, go to the render section and click the render dropdown menu and change the max samples to 1000 or less, defaults number is 4096,
Yes, buy a PC
Hello. Which is the best mac for blender 3d right now? I'm torn between macbook pro m3 max or mac studio m2 ultra.
Hey, probably the m3 is better
imac m3?@@Saturnax
is it not probably better to have a M1 with 16Gb ram instand of M3 with only 8Gb ram, is not the Ram the limited factor?@@Saturnax
@@smokymcpot86 If you can't afford a M3, or M2 max/Ultra with 16 gb of ram, then don't buy an apple product.
Hey Would you Recommend gaming laptop or macbook pro For Blender Professional Work?
If you render a lot then the gaming laptop would probably save you a bit o time. Otherwise the Mac will be better
I'm thinking about switching from my 16"MBP 2019 i9 to the MBA M2 with max. specs. The main reason isn't so much the performance, but the fan noise which is driving me nuts on the 16"MBP... 😂 I'm not using Blender, but I'm using Godot to learn GameDev. This video is very helpful in my decision process. Many thanks for sharing! 👍
Can u test unreal engine 5 ormeta human on the m1 air.
My 700$ MSI LAPTOP with rtx4050 render classroom in Just about 58sec........ Apple pls
@@AnthonySalib-wx1oj yup, thats true but remember the m2 ultra cost 6 times more
Let's check in after about 2-3 years of ownership when your laptop is failing.
Excuse me, I want to know your macbook spec.
it's written on a desc box i think...
I rendered the BMW test with my RTX 3070 Ti in 9.5 seconds. If you care about 3D just stay away from Apple.
It was cpu render.
But yea. Gaming laptops are generally much better for rendering ofc.
Can u tell me, if m2 MacBook Air will be good for making some certain 3d videos???
Your Pc/laptop specifications and price
@@Saturnax except HP pavilion gaming, it just overheats all time.
How many battey lost when you rendering at 16 minutes?
Not a lot of
thanks@@Saturnax
ok mom
MBA m1 16gb good for rendering blender?
I am having m2 pro 13 inch. 8gb one
will it be ok to just learn on it?
For sure i have one tho and i love it 😊
Thanks for the video! redner -> render
Can macbook air m1 render 8k files in Blender?
Why are you using CPU not Gpu rendering?
It doesn’t matter cpu & gpu are integrated on m1
@@dukeguerrier866 well it does matter and there is a difference
@@dukeguerrier866 It does matter, you dodo.
My gtx 1650 only takes 2 minutes

@@SanderE39But you get 330 fps in Fortnite thats totally worth it!
@@ilikeMemes853 you are right: it just works! Onward, to the local Chinese organ trader!
A stupid test he didn't even open the stats that shows CPU, GPU and RAM utilization. On top macbook air FANLESS so it will get hot over 100 degrees and to cool it the machine will throttle to cool it down which will slow all the programmers down. At least try to research how to test these before posting a video.
Daniel didn't get his morning coffee
you have to know that the M1 MacBook Air does not heat over 100 dg... it simply shows that you don't know anything from Apple. I'm using a M2 MacBook Air which is not far from the M1. Rendering and 2D plans are doing great. At least my m2 didn't even get hot. For sure a M2 pro MacBook Pro will be better but the Air does the work. Before writing a comment just be sure what you write about...
This proves this guy is an Apple hater. 100 degrees? Are you sure about that? Have you got one? LOL
@@JohnDeLeon28 I have the exact macbook model in the video, I can tell you that it's pretty simple reaching 100 dg. It easily happens when I try to play videogames and when I render some long video in 4k with Premiere. And yes, CPU will throttle. But in all other cases it keeps 30-40 dg even while I'm using Photoshop that works perfectly. You can't have a better machine with no fan
@@marco.lino.27 I’m playing games as well in this MacBook Air M1 and it doesn’t get to 100 degrees lol. Same as editing videos but never tried yet with a 3D.
