It literally gets called “tank aimbot” because the AI they built is able to actively track and predict the movements of the enemy tank regardless of range and speed and it even automatically fires if the gunner didn’t reach the trigger within the 2 second window.

You can either do it this way or the ARMA way when it comes to keeping it realistic. The ARMA way is to just deny any mouse input that goes over a certain threshold, so it's better like this.
It should be "On the way" Side note, the TC should be giving an Execution command (Fire, Fire and adjust etc) before the Gunner or the Loader fires their weapon
The AI commander was calling a different tank and it doesn't recognize the tank he shot at as being the target it's calling out, so it thinks he missed.
If you are engaging combat with one of the M1’s, they might not be dead even if there is coming fire out of the turret, they have a blow-out-hatch which, if the ammo gets hit, reppels the fire out of the top of the tank and leaves the crew and remaining ammo unharmed and fully operational. Always take that extra shot, even if it might be overkill!
Another thing that really sticks out to me is when an enemy tank aims at you in this game your crew actually will panic and say stuff like fucking shoot him he’s looking at us!!! This game is so crazy good
I don't know if it's the commander or gunner or someone else but if an enemy tank is aiming their gun at you and you can see it through your scope, they'll yell "He's looking right at us!" And if you're basically screwed, such as the gun breech, engine or one of the crew members is dead and you have a tank in sight that's about to fire on you, someone on your crew says "Ooh shit"
Voices haven't gotten me this fired up & invested in a vehicle game outside of Ace Combat in Japanese. It definitely paid off to get real former tankers to do the voice acting. It's a shame they didn't just use these same voices for the Warsaw Pact side for the time being-I mean if you were an actual East German tanker that's still basically the same as how your buddies would sound to you. Though even when they've got the real lines recorded, given that the voice cues are genuinely helpful it might be more useful for most players to have the option for English lines anyway, or at least put the subtitles close to the crosshairs so you don't have to take your eyes off your business (though the calls are also simple enough that we all might just pick up that vocabulary before we know it anyway).
Best voice acting ever had RO 1. Holy crap I don't understand a word of Russian but the German voice lines. No holding back with the taunt button: "du dreckige bolschewistensau!" (you dirty bolshevist pig!). Please upvote to tell me if my comment lives more than five minutes, thanks.
Play it, you get stomped hard by the AI lol. There's a few missions I haven't beaten yet and I've put in like 40 hours into the demo over the last year of updates.
I still wonder how do they program the AI in these games, like whenever I see these tank simulator games the AI tanks always aim at fuck knows what in the sky and start driving random.
That's exaxtly how it looked when I played with the T72M some days before. The AI is horrible actually. Just shows that the crew makes the difference. More than the tank itself.
Gunner responds: identified, on the way. Loader reloads: calls up when ready. I only know this from being a VCE(vehicle crew evaluator) I graded dudes when they did gunnery training.

@@MaplePanda04 an assumption here, but I'd assume it's for the gunner to know what type of round is up next, and what kind of target to shoot at. The loader can just listen in, relieving the TC from having to go like this: "Loader, sabot! Gunner, tank!" To me, this would be very confusing in the heat of battle.
The guy didn’t say gunner stable tank, he said gunner sabo tank, telling him that he has an APFSDS (sabo) loaded and is engaging a tank. This refers to gunner heat pc, where the commander is telling the gunner he has a HEATFS shell loaded, and PC for APC.
If I am seeing this correctly. I think the T-72's armor in this game is underrated. After the fall of the Berlin wall Tier-1 T-72 became available for testing. What turned out is that the armor of these tanks were superior to that of the T-72s encountered before. In such a way that the ammunition available during the first gulf war wasn't able to penetrate the T-72s frontal armor. So the M1A2 would have troubles penetrating the T-72s armor as done in these scenes. p.s. the situation in the Ukraine is no comparison since these were mainly destroyed top-down and from the side. Even more.. The Ukrainians have a very but very low number of Russian tanks destroyed in actual tank vs tank combat. The opposite however counts for the Russian side. Where the Russian T-90 and T-72B3 made short work of the Ukrainian T-64BM Bulat tanks.

I don't think there was any war where ATGM's were that abundant as in The Ukraine. I think even the US tank force would have struggled against the same amount of ATGM's. Also if they would have been of Russian make. I tend to say that the Koronet ATGM missile is at least as powerful as the latest Javelin iteration. And why is this important for a game. Because it calls itself a simulator. And I like to explore all sides of a conflict. And I hate it one side when it is too easy in game whilst I know it would have been more difficult in real life. And it is frustrating to play the other side having a golden shot opportunity and see it simply bounce off like I am shooting a mountain.

really depends on the situation. bare in mind that tankers arent omnipotent, and their field of view is pretty limited IRL (especially in eastern tanks). Sometimes the AI spots you quickly, other times theyll drive right by.

Depends on where you hit. Lots of Russian made tanks, not sure about new one, anywhere you hit inside the turret will cause it to burn. That is because the round compartment is not separated from the crew compartment protected by a sliding door.

Actually, irl there isn’t that screaming at all. You fall back on your training and stay calm. The game voice emotions are not realistic.

Depends on where you hit. Lots of Russian made tanks, not sure about new one, anywhere you hit inside the turret will cause it to burn. That is because the round compartment is not separated from the crew compartment protected by a sliding door.
