Great video. New X5 M for my fiance. I saw the weather stripping gap was so small and then came across this video. It makes much more sense to take them off the car. Welp..here goes nothing
IMPORTANT NOTES 1. Do not even slightly bend or bow the big piece of trim over the top of the front windows. Any additional resistance because of uneven pressure can lead to clips not being able to hold back additional “spring pressure” and constantly popping off. That or, allowing rain water past the first layer of weather protection, the top gasket. 2. Again on the front top trim piece, It’s best to reattach the top gasket to the trim piece while it’s off the vehicle. Then reattach the trim with the gasket already in place. 3. If the plastic grommet(s) that hold back the gasket(s) on the top of the front windows keep falling out after completion of the project, an appropriately sized expandable plastic wall fastener can be inserted and will hold fast. 4. All work should be done with windows down.

How'd it turn out?? =D
Very very good job... I have a 2015 5 series and I think I'm going to do the same thing...
Thank you! Good luck! Hope this helps!
Those front side marker lights need some shadow line treatment with the diodes too.
Good step by step. Informative video. Thanks!
