Some knuckleheads uploaded a video claiming to be changing the fog light bulb on a 2014 X6. If you actually own, or are working on a 2013 or 2014, you'll find that video is just WRONG. That video covers the bulb change on a 2012 or older, Phase 1 X6. You have now found the right video.

thanx for posting this.i have a 2008 clk 550,been thinking about the ecu upgrade.1,200 bucks for a 20 HP upgrade is a hard pill to swallow.after watching this vid,i think i'll be able to swallow it

@@angusjoejohnson1036 We weren’t running in stock testing conditions. Stock testing conditions are 59F and A: 29.92. As shown in the video @1:25 , we were going to get crappy performance but, we’d be getting it together. 83F and A: 29.96. = 1500’. It’s as if our cars were 1550 in the air. Not at sea level, where Bradenton lies. It’s called Density Altitude.
The guy driving the AMG was the issue. Getting out of the gate 10 minutes late... uhhh seriously. He looked as though he was being read a bedtime story at half track. That guy is making AMG look bad... 😅

@@TheAoperator I can’t find a single source showing even the 1966 Shelby GT350 doing a quarter mile in under 14 seconds. 289 ‘66 Mustangs show 17 seconds on average. Was your time recorded on a downhill track in freezing temperatures in Death Valley?
For folks who came here to replace the extendable handle of their Platinum Elite 25 inch spinner, purchased in 2023 - this video here is mostly entirely correct for our luggage as well but note these adjustements: - There are 7 screws at the top (NOT 5 like for the 22 inch carry-on here). Look around at the outer horizontal edge of the big plastic piece for the extra 2 (one on each side) In my own luggage, these were not covered by the little foam pads, because they are recessed but you can see them. - The system that holds the two bars of the handle down the bottom of the luggage is different than the one pictured in this video (or it may just be that my luggage is younger - purchased in 2023) - now, when you unzip the lining, you’ll see that the two bars are socked-in the lining, with foam slipped in the lining on each side (it will make more sense when you open your lining). Don’t do anything to this: Just do as the video says, unscrewing every piece, then when you pull out the bar from the top, the handle will come out of the sock lining - there’s nothing keeping the handles in the lining, so once the screws are removed, the handle can come out. - When you get the replacement handle in, you’ll have to make sure to slip the two bars in each sock channel of the lining, and you may have to slip the foam (do that first) in each sock if you find that the foam slipped out when you yanked out the old handle. It’s very easy to do because the foam has some structure but definitely place the foam in first into the two channels, then get the two bars through the sock lining. I have a 2018 cls550 and I’m considering the Renntech tune 540HP/705Torque. Be honest with me man, have you had any issues with the car after your tune that were caused by the tune?

I was hoping you’d reveal the 2021 BMW M550i lol. I have a friend that owns one, and man that thing is fast and luxurious. So far after years of ownership the N63 is holding strong without issue. I guess the 4th time was the charm as the TU3 V8 was greatly improved when it comes to reliability.
@@MrSamPhoenix yes. I looked at a 2020 M550i. The shop manual on the N63-TU3 showed the material the valve guide seals were made of upgraded. Only problem is, the TU3 only made it into the X5 and X7 when last checked in 2022. All 550 variants still got the TU2. A vast improvement over the original N63 but still, I was not willing to take any chances after my X6 50i experience.

Ive wrapped my headlights in WeatherTech headlight wraps in an attempt to avoid any road damage. What happened to your headlight?

Good video. That's funny about the glare from the dash panel. Have you thought of wrapping them in a carbon fiber or something? I usually do that on the wood trim.
@@Dnasty1 wrapping has crossed my mind. Only, if I wrap the dash in carbon, then I’ve got to do a blackout treatment on all the chrome on the outside to have it make sense. Then it’s $$$.
@@clevelandaeromotive oh yea I normally black out all the exterior chrome window trim. It’s cheaper to do that than the interior I think.

I have a ‘09 SL550 I have the replacement switch but another video I saw called for a dismantled door panel. That seems extremely difficult. Is the switch for the R230 SL550 replacement requiring such a big deal, or is it as simple as you show on your CLS…??? Thanks in advance. Steve

@@crocsnosockz my w212 2010 needed whole panel removed. Did not know and broke the screw at the bottom... I think easy test is to apply little bit of force with plastic pry tool and if it feels like its stuck or like you gonna break something then it means need whole panel removed.

@@HRradness I’m a U.S.12.5 and EU46 fit me perfectly. That’s all I know. I knew my EU size going in to this so, that helps. If you have a European shoe store like Ecco near you, go in there and find out what your EU shoe size is,
