I am Green With Envy. I drove big trucks for 32 years hauling steel and heavy equipment. Also delivered a lot of of gasoline. Now I'm 82 years old and I wish I could still be delivering heavy equipment. But what I'm doing is enjoying myself by watching your videos. Good job on Orwell. Keep smiling Steve you look and sound great going down the road.
Orwell sounds awesome Steve that 400 cat has an awesome tone while you talk to us now... all you need now is 8 alliuminum wheels to complete the truck.
The new stacks look amazing. And you are correct...Orwell sounds throated. The look is amazing. I would have gone with rain caps but I get it why the tink tink tink sounds can make a person a bit crazy. I really appreciate how you talk about the dynamics with Maggie. Good on you for seeing and understanding those dynamics in people. Your an inspiration to us old school truckers trying to make our way in modern trucking. Keep doing your thing and drive safe.

My grandfather always said an old violin still plays good music...! you have a very nicely restored truck with good old technology👍👍
Tall twin stacks on a cabover looks FANtastic & Orwell pulls as good as it looks. When you did the 180 after pulling into the pickup point, the advantage of a cabover is apparent. Even knowing the camera has a wide-angle lens, it looked like you reversed direction in the length of your rig. Most impressive. You're right, imo: Orwell sounds even better than before. The routing underneath the cab is super clean, proving 'You want it done right, do it yourself.' Thanks for sharing your travels with us. ETA (Edited to Add): Yeah, the camaraderie between Dave, Maggie and you is good to see. You, as leader, are responsible for it; for setting the postitive tone. They respond to your respect for their abilities by working hard to keep it. You get that, I'm just commenting on it. Sadly, big organization or small, the boss who leads instead of trying to push from behind is rare. Puts you in the top 10 %. Keep on - it makes your channel a pleasure to watch.
DANG ! Great videos ! Such great memories with your classic Pete ! - Reminds me of my (new) 1977 K-1 with a 430 Detroit, 13 speed & 3:70 rears & a couple of 'paper' logbooks 😜 Good times pullin' 43ft reefer w/swingin' meat. Steve / W5BIB
STEVE NOW bthat you have BOTH PIPES,OPRRATING,IT SURELY SOUNDS GREAT,so glad to hear them, aside looking wonderful,TAKE CARE,with, the crap weather, stay well,GOD BLESS YOU ALL,FROM NJ, 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Super ! Merci de nous faire partager votre travail et cette passion du transport routier .. Bon courage. Amitié de France. (Great ! Thank you for sharing your work and this passion for road transport with us. Good luck. Friendship from France.)
Dang! That beautiful rig is looking better & better every time you show it! & here's to the day when you can dress it up even more by matching all the rims! But until that day let her do what she was built for & work! Keep going forward Steve cause U'r doing it right!
Steve my name is Michael Lockhart I am from Odessa Missouri and I really enjoy watching your videos I am going keep watching your videos . Steve your truck really sounds good after you did all of that work to it .
Uff, the warm weather is delaying you, and here in South America it spreads, it's already terrible and overwhelming, Orwell going back to the ring, it sounds really good, I would say quite rude haha, excellent video Steve, pleasant days will come where it will shine accordingly that big cabover 💪⚪🔵
Just love the heck outta your videos.youre one of a dying breed.drive your own trk and do your own repairs and fabricating.its awesome watching tht Pete go down the road and worked up in the shop.those pipes are beefy, love em.
Steve once you have a chance to replace your seat gouges and that wheel! Orwell will be quite a truck! And quite a show! And more comfortable! Only drove one of those once! But many 362s. And other Coe, drove 79 I h I5 and over snowqualamie and 97 out of pendleton or. For 2 yrs when snow shed was still used!
Hi Steve, the new stacks look and sound great! I drove a cab over 76 Pete with no power steering you lucky boy. I went by the handle of "BUTCH". I like what you've done with the improvements on Orvile. Well enough for now, take care on the road.
Steve you Tim Gentry & Robert Smith of S H Tube are as old school as they come. That's what I like what you see is what you get. Steve an 8" pipe !' long holds 2.6 gallons approximately. Sounds like a good running CAT.
Orwell sure sounds mighty fine. Nice to hear your really happy doing what your doing FSC. I can hardly wait to see the up coming projects. With Maggie and Dave now on Team FSC some good things are going to come out of that garage. I liked the quick shot of that one painted driver. If they don’t know by now they will never know. Your videos have come a long way since I started watching. Your always trying to give more be better make nicer videos and it shows. Your channel is growing and I know that’s what you want. Anywho FSC sounds like Orwell has now 3 balls instead of two. Have a great and a safe day. Happy trails and happy motoring….
Hey Steve the new stacks look great ! It's sure nice to see the coal rolling outta both of them too lol ! You three did a great job on the install and it looks like first rate work. Alright driver be careful out there and thanks for another kick~ass video...
Ain't that the truth and it's to see you and Tim doing awesome 👍 and back on the road again making that stuff some of us can't get like that glad to see Orwell is back to work and you too Steve I know that was driving you crazy not being able to drive and travel
My comment on the stack flappers, back in the day before air conditioners I would be trying to get my D.O.T. rest, windows down ,bunk vents open and a truck driver pull in beside you leave his engine running and you wake up to TING TING TING!! make you want to say something ugly LOL
And regarding the stacks, to add... the heat from the exhaust will cause any water vapor that collects while it's running to be evaporated. And the amount of compression the engine is generating is also going to expel the water from the pipes. Like you said, a long time in the open, just put buckets over them. I've seen people rig up some cans with long sticks screwed on the sides so they can easily add/remove them from the stacks.
Great video Steve really enjoy all the different camera angles and your commentary. The new stacks look great and sounds great. Glad the three of you work well together safe travels Steve.
Great job editing the video Steve! The music & wipers at the beginning keeping tempo was pretty cool! I thought you wear going to do a couple of donuts there at the end! 😂 Orwell sounds great! Keep on bringing those cool truckin’ videos!
I've seen many trucks with weep holes drilled in the bottom of the stacks to let the water drain out. But I never thought water was a problem unless the truck was sitting outside for a long time, in which case, a five gallon bucket works good!
Steve don't forget to let me know if anyone messes with you out there. That is what I get paid to do. That way you can make your videos in peace without anyone running there mouth.
Steve the Peterbilt looks good you Maggie & Dave did a great job I have no complaints on how you did the stacks, and if or when you decide to put polished aluminum wheels on the drives your truck will look sharp.
I like the look and sound. Someone mentioned the bomb cyclone, sounds like something for a tshirt. It could say bomb cyclone, we are all going die. FSC trucking and have a picture of Orwell with a grimance on his face.
Thinking about your new stacks and some people wondering about the weather getting to them.I was involved with heavy equipment for 40 years.we always protected the internals.when engine emmisions(sulfur) mix with water and air……you get sulfuric acid.the moisture will collect in the low points of the exhaust plumbing and that’s where you’ll get a rotten spot.along with the heating and cooling cycles and you get an expense that could be negated
I love the stacks just as they are. You are right though, People dont understand how much piping there is on your truck before the turbo.. They think its like a tractor, where the stacks go DIRECT to the turbo, and the stack comes out the hood. Its not the same at all.
Cool video yea i think in the video he was talking about improvement on Orwell meaning puting on brand new new aluminum drive whelles and drive tires really can't wait too see that happen they will look great on Orwell and it will get done a lot faster with new help at the shop!!
Looks great, sounds amazing. How about a two hour audio track to fall asleep to! Glad to see things are going better, you seemed a bit bummed awhile back.
I am Green With Envy. I drove big trucks for 32 years hauling steel and heavy equipment. Also delivered a lot of of gasoline. Keep smiling Steve you look and sound great going down the road.
That rusty wheel gives Orwell character! thats how I look at it anyway. The stacks make Orwell look good awesome choice it came out perfect!
Orwell sounds awesome Steve that 400 cat has an awesome tone while you talk to us now... all you need now is 8 alliuminum wheels to complete the truck.

Love those stacks. Don't forget to add the flap exhaust caps...LOL. It's not about the rain. They look so cool. So old school, outlaw cabover!

Safe travels and good health.
Just love the heck outta your videos.youre one of a dying breed.drive your own trk and do your own repairs and fabricating.its awesome watching tht Pete go down the road and worked up in the shop.those pipes are beefy, love em.
It'll be alright .....that's a working truck not a show pony...Ole truck sounds real nice and not too loud
Better to have a beet up old dragon of a work truck than a gaudy looking shop princess.
Wisconsin looks like a road course with all them round abouts!
Those stacks look HOT. Now you need to replace those Steel rust wheels. We know you know. Great content! Keep on truckin!
Great job Steve, truck looks happier on the road.
Sound work from Dave and Maggie.
Thanks for sharing

Hi Steve, the new stacks look and sound great! I drove a cab over 76 Pete with no power steering you lucky boy. I went by the handle of "BUTCH". I like what you've done with the improvements on Orvile. Well enough for now, take care on the road.
Sir that 3406 slaps nice now at speed. The sound is mellow, smooth, and not loud. Excellent job.

Steve the Pete is looking and sounding good hello from the upper peninsula of Michigan
Steve you Tim Gentry & Robert Smith of S H Tube are as old school as they come. That's what I like what you see is what you get. Steve an 8" pipe !' long holds 2.6 gallons approximately. Sounds like a good running CAT.
Don't worry about the open stacks, unless you park for several days. I never had a problem with my Star.
Orwell sure sounds mighty fine. Nice to hear your really happy doing what your doing FSC. I can hardly wait to see the up coming projects. Luv the stacks Steve great job all . Looking forward to the trucking mate .
I like them! I used to pull a grain trailer, stacks were not an option because of low elevator clearances.
Hey Steve the new stacks look great ! It's sure nice to see the coal rolling outta both of them too lol ! You three did a great job on the install and it looks like first rate work. Alright driver be careful out there and thanks for another kick~ass video...

It's a nice truck, but it would be even nicer with Alcoa chrome wheels on all axles. Greetings from Landshut / Germany
I love the stacks just as they are. You are right though, People dont understand how much piping there is on your truck before the turbo.. They think its like a tractor, where the stacks go DIRECT to the turbo, and the stack comes out the hood. Its not the same at all.
Hi Steve, I'm from NW Wisconsin and own a T800H quad axle dump. I have a C-15 that sounds good, but not as good as that B model.
I like the pipes! Throaty sound! Good content! 👍
Excellent fitment on the exhaust system.
Cool video yea i think in the video he was talking about improvement on Orwell meaning puting on brand new new aluminum drive whelles and drive tires really can't wait too see that happen they will look great on Orwell and it will get done a lot faster with new help at the shop!!
